Couldn't hurt to ask. Marshall hasn't been incredibly impressive yet either, so who knows what that manager would think. I'd offer it for sure, because Murray is on pace for over 400 carries, and we know that can't continue if they want him next year loljmog;1663067 wrote:I have been thinking of trading Murray to get a good WR and a good RB, maybe something like Murray/Hopkins for B. Marshall/J. Charles? Do you think the owner would take that since Charles has been dealing with an ankle injury all year and Marshall has been subpar for himself this year? -
SportsAndLadyAndre Williams had a 15 yard rush with a few minutes to go last night to pull it out for me.
I was up 6 points with Williams and maclin and going against Cruz and ertz.
Close game but I remain undefeated. -

So far on the season Murray has outscored Charles and Marshall combined. I have a feeling that trend can't continue. Charles will get healthy and Marshall will come around. Like yous said, Murray can't continue with his averaged of 30 touches a game (I am LOVING it, but can't see it continue).Dr. KnOiTaLL;1663088 wrote:Couldn't hurt to ask. Basically I'd go from starting this:
RB-Murray
RB-Oliver (Ellington when Mathews comes back)
WR-Green (when back)
WR-Hopkins
to this:
RB-Charles
RB-Oliver (Ellington when Mathews comes back)
WR-Green
WR-Marshall -
Dr. KnOiTaLLAfter starting 0-4, I've won the last two weeks beating two pretty decent teams. 3 of the next 4 weeks, I play the bottom three teams in the league, with the highest scoring team mixed in there week 9 (when I have Ryan, Jeffery, Hunter, DET DEF, and Worrilow all on bye). Hoping I can be 5-5 coming out of week 10.
With that in mind, a manager in my league really wants to make a move. Not sure what he's interested in thus far, but he's the owner of McCoy and Julius Thomas. He could use some help at WR (Harvin, Hopkins, Fitzgerald, Cooks, Crabtree) with no real reliable options, and I suddenly became fairly comfortable at the position with Randle taking over WR1 duties in the wake of Cruz's injury. What type of trade should I pursue? Thinking I ought to go after McCoy with Tate (Alex Mack done for the season). I'll post our rosters below.
MY TEAM
QB: Ryan
WR: Jeffery, VJackson, RRandle, KAllen, JHunter
RB: LBell, BTate, Ingram, Crowell
TE: Gates
DEF: DET D, BAL D, BUF D
K: Tucker
IDP: Worrilow, BWagner, VBurfict
HIS TEAM
QB: Brees/Newton
WR: Fitzgerald, Harvin, Cooks, Hopkins, Crabtree
RB: LMcCoy, AMorris, Sproles (hurt), Helu
TE: JThomas
DEF: PHI D
K: McManus
IDP: MBarron, MBurnett, MJenkins -
TBone14I will go 2-1 this week. 1-1 in my high priority leagues. My two 1-4 teams that were on life support pulled out wins. My 2-3 team that would have been in good shape with a win at 3-3 falls to 2-4 and joins Team Life Support as we receive news that Jimmy Graham may miss more time than originally expected.
All 3 of my teams will move to 2-4 and as the journey to missing the playoffs in excruciating fashion in 3 leagues continues. -
Classyposter58Wow I won again and moved to 3-2 this year. If I can get Green and Johnson to get healthy I might have a serious shot at the title

Iliketurtles
Do you mean 4-2 or 3-3? Also what did you do to upgrade you're RBs? Because like I said both Bush and Spiller would be terrible/get injured and Miller has been decent. You're bench WRs have really stepped up with megatron and a being out.Classyposter58;1663226 wrote:Wow I won again and moved to 3-2 this year. jmogI got offered Eli Manning for my Jay Cutler (both QBs are backups on their team).
I almost laughed it off as Cutler is the #9 QB in our league right now and scored about twice as many points as Manning.
Here's my issue that the owner knows, my starting QB is Matt Ryan (#2 in our league currently) and Cutler and Ryan have the same bye. So I will be forced to make some move in 2 weeks no matter what.
His starting QB is Foles so he needs a decent starter this week as Eli sucks and is going against Dallas who has been good against QBs this season.
I countered with this (I need WR help with AJ Green out)...
I give:
Cutler/Hopkins
I get:
Eli/Steve Smith (Bal). -

See if he'll bite on Tate/VJax for McCoy/Hopkins, if not change to Randal. McCoy has not played well this season, he may bite..especially with McCoy on bye this week.Dr. KnOiTaLL;1663137 wrote:After starting 0-4, I've won the last two weeks beating two pretty decent teams. 3 of the next 4 weeks, I play the bottom three teams in the league, with the highest scoring team mixed in there week 9 (when I have Ryan, Jeffery, Hunter, DET DEF, and Worrilow all on bye). I actually sent a huge trade offer and he's legitimately considering because he's in a must win situation sitting at 1-5 vs a top team in the league.jmog;1663419 wrote:See if he'll bite on Tate/VJax for McCoy/Hopkins, if not change to Randal. I offered Tate, Crowell, Gates, Jeffery, and BAL D.... and I would get McCoy (bye), Thomas, Harvin, and Newton. Seems pretty over the top, but I figured I can always come down a little if needed to make a deal work. -
Dr. KnOiTaLL
So the trade offer was accepted. The owner felt he needed to roll the dice and hope the shakeup sparks his ball club. He's actually the commissioner of the league, and this is the 12th year of the league with 7 of the original managers, so don't doubt the competitiveness and competence of the manager. I WILL say that I was surprised he accepted, but I'm glad he did lolDr. KnOiTaLL;1663439 wrote:I actually sent a huge trade offer and he's legitimately considering because he's in a must win situation sitting at 1-5 vs a top team in the league.

I'd say you won that trade by a mile. You got a huge upgrade at RB and TE for a drop off at WR.Dr. KnOiTaLL;1663492 wrote:So the trade offer was accepted. jmogOne of these two maybe traded by the end of the week, but if they are not...
Start Ryan vs Baltimore or Cutler vs Miami?
Surprisingly, Baltimore has given up many more passing yards than Miami (Baltimore is near the bottom of the league) but they are much more stingy with TDs and getting TOs than Miami.
Ryan is the #2 QB in our league still, and has been doing fairly well even over the last few weeks, but do I let Baltimore scare me to Cutler for 1 week (Ryan has some cake secondaries coming up the rest of the season, he will start from here on out). -
TBone14What does everyone make the Jimmy Graham situation at this point?
Last week. Sean Payton down plays it. Says Graham is "doing fine" and the bye comes at the perfect time for him. Then on Sunday AM, Rapoport breaks a story saying he is going to miss multiple games now? Nobody from the Saints has confirmed that story. There has been nothing out of Saints camp as far as updates yesterday or today. Coming off a bye, I'm sure they are back to work.
I am hoping the Rapoport story is erroneous and they are just trying to pull the wool over the Lions eyes getting them to plan on no Jimmy before the Wednesday injury report comes out. -

I trade Peyton, Michael Floyd, Lacy, and Gates. I get Rodgers, Steve Smith, Lynch, and Kelce.
This sounds as good to you guys as it does to me, right? -

Yeah, yo uare basically trading Peyton for Rodgers, Smith, Lynch.O-Trap;1663517 wrote:Non-PPR

Kelce from here on out will play equal to Gates, Rodgers is a little step down from Peyton ,but a nice upgrade at WR and RB. -
DeyDurkie5Bradshaw Reggie and Lamar miller for demarco and Brandon cooks. Go ahead and rip me everyone.
-
SportsAndLadyI wouldn't make that trade otrap.
I'm not trading peyton and Lacy for rodgers smith and lynch. Nope. -
IliketurtlesYeah I'm not doing that trade Otrap. If he puts Nelson back in there for Smith I'd probably do it though.
-
Crimson streakI trade gronk, and gore and get graham and storm Johnson. Should I do it?
My other rb's are Bell (det) McKinnon, Moreno, and Crowell. 14 team league ppr. I also have gates -

4-2 and yeah my WRs were great last week with Evans, Wallace and Jackson all having big games. Plus Phil Rivers has outperformed every QB I believe that I have playedIliketurtles;1663246 wrote:Do you mean 4-2 or 3-3? Also what did you do to upgrade you're RBs? CCRollyDare I roll with the Browns over Jax in my Survivor Pool this week? $375 at stake...
-
Terry_TateI'd do that trade Otrap. You have a slight downgrade at QB but you upgrade at RB, WR and TE is close IMO even though Gates has 3 more TDs than Kelce. Peyton has also had his bye but so has Lynch and Kelce. I'd probably do it because I love Lynch and Kelce and think Steve Smith will keep up having a big year.
