The National Anthem

  • HitsRus
So, a few weeks down the road, anybody else want to join me in saying that the NFL owners are idiots in allowing their game/venues to be manipulated by political forces not central to their business?
  • QuakerOats
When you let political correctness seep into your culture, your workplace; you can expect problems.
  • QuakerOats
Let them play all their games in London and Mexico; maybe Iran and N Korea ........screw em.

I may start protesting the Anthem in protest of the treatment I am receiving on the OC from the Nazi mods likely because of one whiny bitch. That lil petty mother fucker can go fuck himeslf. Banning me from thread after thread after thread for nothing.

Fucking whiny bitch sportsandnazi. You can go be miserable together in sports hell.

    Sounds like you’re bitching.

Hell yeah. Thread ban for simply stating browns offense should have success with Watt out and I don't think they'll have a problem with houston. Does not deserve a thread ban.

Nazis. Makes the jjhuddle mods from back in the day look like mall cops.

I'm still comfortable being pissed when my account continue to be devalued by bullshit fiscal policy every term.

Any "points" he made could have been made from the west coast, where he already was, with a microphone.

But yeah, that flight he took, the gas used, the transportation while there ... I'm sure that was all free, or I'm sure he paid for all of it out of pocket.

Otherwise, yes. He wasted taxpayer dollars to stage a protest of a protest.
QuakerOats;1876198 wrote:Also ..... pretty hilarious for libtards all of the sudden caring about federal spending; what a God damn ruse.
Well, I'm not liberal, so I'm not sure what this has to do with anything. Hell, my thoughts on fiscal policy and gun rights are probably more extreme to the conservative side than yours.

I was every bit as willing to call out Obama for his constant reckless spending as well.

Lol, yeah, Mr. We Can Trim So Much Fat Without Blinking does nothing but pretend not to notice when it comes to the fat the administration is doing themselves (constant golf trips/weekends at the Florida resort, flying from the west to Indy and back for a political stunt, guys using "official business" planes for personal matters, the time period when Melania and Barron were living in NYC, etc.).

At least have the balls to not be a blind partisan and admit the dudes occupying the White House are supplying their own fat that should be trimmed instead of just railing about programs you don't like that need cut. QQ'd look like much less of a total joke that way.

He did not stage a protest; he actually provided a valuable civics and history lesson for a lot of youngsters who sure as fuck do not learn anything like that in school anymore.

And again, absolutely fucking hysterical that liberals are faux concerned about taxpayers dollars. Give me a God damn break.

None of the statists are actually concerned about it, based on their actions.

Always concerned about taxpayer dollars; have no problem spending some on a real history/civics lesson.

    Hope you FINALLY comprehend.

I've seen less spin on a stationary bike.

First, he protested the protest. That's not a civics lesson. A walk-out is a protest.

Second, is it your position that a representative of the federal government is the person to be giving civics lesson to the public?

I would hope that any bastion of conservatism wouldn't want the public's view on civics dictated by any agent of the federal government. I sure as hell don't, regardless of who is in office.

And again, as apparently you missed it the first time, it's absolutely fucking hysterical that you try to default to making it about liberals. I'm not a liberal. I'm seemingly more conservative in my fiscal views than you are. Probably in my views on the Second Amendment, too.

I already told you this recently, but perhaps you need the reminder:
O-Trap;1866110 wrote:- I support the Second Amendment to the degree that I think the laws currently on the books are already too restrictive.

    - I support the right to free speech, meaning I think college campuses should not be censoring Trump supporters or supporting areas on campus where vocal Republicans are not allowed to go.

    - I think things like "safe spaces" (in their current conception), being "triggered," and the move to call some free speech aggression are utter nonsense, and they should be dismissed as such.

    - I oppose the federal income tax (as well as the state and local, mostly), and I think the IRS causes far more problems than it solves and should be abolished.

    - While I would fervently argue that there is more nuance to the racial issues we experience in the country right now, I'd say that those who attribute it ALL to systemic racism and wealth inequality are naive and wrong.

    - I believe any business, individual, or clergy member should have the right to refuse to serve any customer for any reason they wish.

    - I oppose wire-tapping on private citizens without cause and warrant.

    - Feel free to go back and look; I was vocal about the fact that I thought Obama was an awful president. All posture. Little substance.

    - I oppose essentially every social program in existence, particularly at the federal level.
Does that sound like a "liberal" to you?

Nope. it makes you sound like QQuaker when you quote yourself.

The players are protesting; the vice-president would not dignify their protest by staying for the game and 'supporting' them.

I am happy the vice-president then made his follow up comments; I am sure a lot of young people learned something more than they hear in school.

    Carry on.

And...it was reported that SF (where player protests essentially began with Kap) had about 25 players take a knee the previous week. Pence flew to Indy knowing exactly what would happen, so he could make a big deal about walking out IN PROTEST of that.

But, hey, glad you're cool with big gubmint wasting time and money on feuding with the NFL over "civics lessons" instead of actually doing anything about real problems. Then again, with Trump at the wheel, we're all better off with him ranting about frivolous crap. Keeps him from fucking up important shit!
