Good to know. I've been following the BR for some time now, will definitely take their "reports" with a grain of salt now :/wildcats20;1875884 wrote:https://twitter.com/mikeallen/status/917104459691560961

Well, other than how the post RIGHT FUCKING BELOW that one refuted it as a made-up quote by the writer, but yeah.Spock;1876016 wrote:Money talks and bullshit takes a knee
In other news, Mike Pence, at Daddy Cheetos request, wasted a lot of taxpayer money to fly to and from Indy from the west coast region to stage a walk-out of the Colts game in protest of players protesting. Hilariously staging a protest to protest other protests — BRILLIANT!!!
Although, considering that level of dumbass, it's probably for the best the WH is that concerned with frivolous matters. The more time they waste doing stuff like this, the less time they have to fuck up important shit. -

An NFL game is the wrong forum to express political opinions.Heretic;1876144 wrote: In other news, Mike Pence, at Daddy Cheetos request, wasted a lot of taxpayer money to fly to and from Indy from the west coast region to stage a walk-out of the Colts game in protest of players protesting. I mean, if you're trying to make a point to opposition, it's not bad to use a quote from someone they typically have regard for.like_that;1875935 wrote:The irony of Kaepernick quoting Winston Churchill LOL.
Having said that, yeah, Churchill was a racist asshole. Good political leader, and he stood for some good things elsewhere, but his "jolly little wars against barbarous people" show that he was a real wank generally.
Anyone have odds on whether or not QO will show any outrage over the wasted taxpayer dollars?Heretic;1876144 wrote:Well, other than how the post RIGHT FUCKING BELOW that one refuted it as a made-up quote by the writer, but yeah.

QuakerOatsPence did the right thing, again.
Screw the NFL, and the jackass players.
Carry on. -
fish82Taxpayer dollars are wasted every day...often on dumber shit than this.
That said...it was a pretty silly stunt over an increasingly dumb issue. -

Con_AlmaReturned from Annapolis yesterday from attending the Navy vs. Air Force game. Listening to 38,000 people sing together the National anthem is chilling. Even more reverent would be the announcement that the national ensign is entering the stadium and watching all in attendance rise in unison while it's paraded to position. An Academy crowd regards the national emblems as representative of all that is good and all that we as a nation are working to make right. It's not a view of perfection but rather the desire to continue to work towards being a more perfect union. Seeing players emerge from the locker room tunnel and pray in the end zones while respecting those that choose not to.....standing at attetion for each other's alma mater....drum and bugle corps combining to play God Bless America...was indication that there's hope that we can work together and come to a reasonable conclusion of joint effort towards those things we might not yet be "perfect"at.

He wasted taxpayer dollars to protest the goings-on during the anthem.QuakerOats;1876165 wrote:Pence did the right thing, again.
So you're good with that, now? I wonder why.
And there is often an appropriate level of outrage over it (and rightly so).fish82;1876167 wrote:Taxpayer dollars are wasted every day...often on dumber shit than this.
But this is getting, at most, mild criticism, and in some cases (see the hilarity above) praise.

What a surprise; from one of the people who complained constantly about the president taking vacations and playing golf over the last 8 years, but suddenly forgot that vacations and golf were bad things when President Every Day Is Great For Golf took office.O-Trap;1876188 wrote:He wasted taxpayer dollars to protest the goings-on during the anthem.

I'm pretty much done with outrage in general. Things would be way nicer if everyone would just calm the fuck down.O-Trap;1876188 wrote:

He didn't waste anything. In fact, he made a great point.
Also ..... pretty hilarious for libtards all of the sudden caring about federal spending; what a God damn ruse. -
