Disgusted with Trump administration - Part I

All the more reason to be on the Trump Train and drain the swamp. The establishment is soooooooooooooooo fucking pissed that an outsider is in the WH; now we know why. There is a reason we have a $20 trillion debt; the hucksters in DC are laughing all the way to the bank.
That is a large part of the problem.
He has shown zero ability to drain it on capital hill yet.
Also, kinda hard to drain the swamp when most of his cabinet and officials are swamp people... -
QuakerOatsDid you think they would all just go quietly.
The wailing and gnashing of teeth has been pretty epic. -

I think what Trump meant to say was he was going to CHUM the swamp.ptown_trojans_1;1882667 wrote:The thing is, he is not draining the swamp on capital hill.

No. It is called Bureaucracy. Every President comes in thinking they can change Washington, and all leave after 4-8 years and Washington stays the same.QuakerOats;1882669 wrote:Did you think they would all just go quietly.

If anything the most disruptive thing on the swamp has not been Trump, it is the sexual assault/ harassment accusations lately. That seems to have more of an impact that anything Trump has said or done. -

Unbelievable. I've heard they can't agree on a casino downtown because, essentially, the state is leary of letting the corrupt local govt get its hooks into those revenues. You're talking probably $1B in annual revenues to a city and state in desperate need of it, and they can't pull the trigger because of squabbling over who runs it and how to divide the money.SportsAndLady;1882657 wrote:If it’s anything like Chicago politics, there’s probably corruption everywhere in DC. Just the other day a client was telling me that the city of Chicago paid twice as much for a construction company to do a job for the city than the other companies would have done it for. Turned out Rahm Emanuel is a silent partner in that construction company. It’s crazy how corrupt a government and it’s minions can be. -

isadoreThe ***** grabber defends a pedophile, what a pos!
"WASHINGTON — President Trump defended Roy S. Moore, the Alabama Republican Senate candidate accused of sexual misconduct with minors, saying on Tuesday that Mr. Moore “totally denies” the allegations against him.
Mr. Trump said that Alabama voters should not support Doug Jones, the Democratic candidate running against Mr. Moore in a special election next month.

Yes he defended the pedophile, ""He denies it. Look, he denies it," Trump said of Moore. "If you look at all the things that have happened over the last 48 hours. He totally denies it. He says it didn't happen. And look, you have to look at him also." Then he endorses him.Spock;1882725 wrote:He didnt defend him. He only made a comment that the dem was not a good choice. -

I don't disagree that he is likely a creep. But there is no evidence up to this point. I guess when you wait 40 years to say something it seems less credible.isadore;1882731 wrote:and Roy Moore, the ***** grabber's candidate for the United States Senate is even more likely guilty of sexually assaulting teen age girls -
like_thatRoy Moore is more than a creep. There is a 98% likelihood he is a piece of shit. If the GOP and fellow voters truly don't want a liberal taking a heavily red seat, they could have easily started a write in campaign with Trump and the GOP's full endorsement. That would have been more than enough to put a republican in that seat, who isn't a piece of shit.

I know this is a waste of time because you will continue to find reason to give this Evangelical Pedophile the benefit of the doubt. But off on a fool’s errand. What protect Ray Moore is the statute of limitations, not the lack of evidence. Victim testimony is evidence, especially when supported by providing contemporary accounts to others.Spock;1882738 wrote:I don't disagree that he is likely a creep. As to why the victims waited so long. To begin with, what Ray Moore’s threats, "You're just a child and I am the District Attorney of Etowah County, and if you tell anyone about this, no one will ever believe you."' Then his continuing power and influence in Alabama, backed by thousands of fanatical and vindictive supporters. The fact that in the intervening years that women coming forward with similar charges against powerful men have been ignored or attacked. But that recently there has been greater support and sympathy for the victims

I don't know maybe listen to the accusers and their reason for not coming forward. It follows the reason a lot of accusers do not come forward: They feel they will not be believed and that their reputation will be thrown in the mud, so why bother. The treatment of them over the last few weeks reinforces that fact.Spock;1882738 wrote:I don't disagree that he is likely a creep. But there is no evidence up to this point. That follows the time and true pattern seen over the last 10-15 years of sexual abuse and misconduct.
Listening is an amazing thing and doing that will answer your concern on why they waited so long, 40 years for some.
Agreed. The voters from Bama can either write in or simply not vote. It is up to them to not elect this creep.like_that;1882747 wrote:Roy Moore is more than a creep. But, the line from the White House and Trump is pretty fucking bad. -

Still waiting on her to be officially charged in at least one of the dozens. Weren't you one of those nut-jobs who screamed, "Obama is going to take all of our guns" a while back?Spock;1882730 wrote: She is likely guilty in dozens of federal crimes. -

No evidence? Dafuk Spock, really? Are you completely ignoring that back in the 80's the dude was banned from a mall for repeatedly attempting to pick up teens?Spock;1882738 wrote:I don't disagree that he is likely a creep. For all you know, those handful of women did say something back then. Now that Moore is running for Senate, the women's accusations have been uncovered, researched and examined by the national media coverage. -
