The more I think about it all, I really think once baker takes over this team is going to take off. With his accuracy and ability to throw the ball down the field it will open the run game up so much and mayfield should be able to take advantage of the 1 on 1 match ups outside. It’s a shame hues too dumb to realize it

For you stat people, from football outsiders (it’s a deviation from league average stat)

FO DVOA has been updated. The bad news- Browns are #5 in the NFL in starting field position on offense but #30 in off DVOA. Tyrod is 31st in QB DVOA ahead of only one other starter in the NFL- Sam Bradford. The good news- Browns D is 6th in DVOA

It should. Opposing D-Coordinators know that TT's limited in what he can do and what he's good at. TT may limit mistakes but he also limits an offense. The fact that Baker can consistently throw the ball down the field is going to make DC's keep their secondaries more honest. They won't be able to crowd the box to try to take away short(er) passes like they do with TT.

Which pisses me off bc let’s be honest this division is there for the taking. The Steelers aren’t the Steelers of the past few years, the bengals while being 2-0 aren’t that great and Baltimore is average.

Agree again. Unfortunately, we've seen this song & dance a few times with Charlie Frye & Cody Kessler. I know that TT is a better QB than those two but defenses defend them the same way. Teams would stack the box on Frye because they knew he couldn't stretch the field. They bring in Derek Anderson and the offense opens up. Granted, DA was extremely inconsistent but he brought a different dynamic to the offense. Teams had to respect the vertical game. They don't with TT and that's part of the reason the running game has sucked.

To me, Cincinnati is the cream of the division, for now. Baltimore has never scared me because they usually have a crap bag QB and Pittsburgh has become TMZ Central. Their secondary is a sieve that can be exploited.

Hyde is the 46th ranked RB out of 53 rated.

I don't blame Hyde THAT much. Haley ran him into a stacked box last week. It all comes back to where are you supposed to run when they know you can't throw. That said, I'd like to see Chubb, and the under use of Duke the past 3 years will continue to be a mystery, other than retarded head coach.

All-22's showing that they were running a lot of counters, which isn't Hyde's strength.

Looks like ogbah and kirksey is out tomorrow and Landry and Randall are questionable. Hopefully both play, especially Randall, he has been great so far

Talk is cheap young man, we'll see.

I'll be happy if he produces decent numbers AND stays clean the whole season.

Ben's gonna Ben...in all seriousness, she doesn't have much credibility in my book.

Why? Not to get into politics, but she has basically been correct on the Trump stuff. Why lie about Big Ben lol.
