Plenty to be positive about (think this is a 6-10 or 7-9 team) with this team but Josh Gordon will get no slack from me until he proves he's worth a shit. Dude has been the biggest disappointment (with talent) in a Browns uniform since I've been watching them. He's done nothing but let down the team and the fans. Until he proves he's worth a salt, he gets NOTHING.

Hey that’s great!! But we heard you the first 19 times you said it. Give it a fucking rest now.

I'm optimistic about most Browns players except the ones that can't be trusted (see Gordon and Pacman, if they sign him).

Love what I'm hearing about Mayfield coming out of camp. Granted, no pass rush but he hasn't thrown a pick and apparently, veteran receivers are coming to him to teach them Haley's playbook. Good sign if he's picking things up that fast.

Shon or Corey? I'm assuming Shon because Corey's having a pretty good camp.

Sorry Shon. I meant he's a waste for forcing us to put Bitonio at LT bc he sucks.  I did assume this is what would ultimately happen.

Yeah, I agree. You'd think between him, Greg Robinson (concussion) or Desmond Harrison they could plug someone in there but frankly, if it gets Corbett on the field immediately, I'm all for it. It sucks that they'd have to move Bitonio from his natural spot but of the guys I mentioned, he's the only one I'd trust and I've never seen him play a down at LT. That's how little faith I have in those other scrubs.

What annoys me with this move is they could have at least given him reps at LT last year when JT went down.  It was very clear last season was going nowhere.

Good point. I don't get the feeling Hue is much of a "strategic" thinker.

Or in Spring. Why now? What a cluster fuck move by a moronic HC.

The local station is at camp and they had Bitonio on yesterday asking him everything from the camp to what movies he's seen recently and he did say that it seems like Hue has improved. Said he doesn't have to focus on what play to call next and has been telling position groups "you need to tweak this" etc, so hopefully he will improve with the play calling duties gone but I'm not betting on it.

Worked out for Carson Wentz.

I had this discussion with a friend a few days ago.  Even if Baker was outperforming Tyrod (i.e. pulling off a Russell Wilson his rookie year vs Matt Flynn), I would have 0 confidence in Hue making the move.  He would either A. not realize Baker is already the better option or/and B. he would be too much of a puss to pull the trigger.

Yeah, I know and TT's a nice security blanket to have but I'd rather they just let er rip with Baker right out of the gate. I did see where he finally threw his first pick of training camp.

Could be worse, could be Patrick Mahomes who has been an interception machine in KC. Has to be a culture shock for Chiefs fans as Alex Smith hardly threw any, but again....training camp.

I am not really a big believer in mental reps, however I will say having someone like Tyrod in camp is good for Baker.  Somebody for him to respect at least.  Can you imagine if he came into camp with Kizer and Kessler rounding out the QB depth chart?

Haha agreed. Wish McCown was around for his leadership. I'm fine with starting Tyrod for a couple games, but if he looks like shit and Baker is ready, start him.
