Dallas and Atlanta both play at home tomorrow. Those fields are painted.

It’s lazy and makes this game look like a high school state championship game. It’s awful. Granted, OSU looks like they might lose to a good high school team right now.

If OSU isn’t very good this half and they win

I will NOT complain if they don’t make it. What a complete horse shit performance sans the kicker

This. Avg like 14 yards a carry and Fields looks like shit. And you can not fucking take a delay of game penalty

Fields looks like trash and Day is calling some terrible trick plays and not running it enough. Ugly

They're missing 20 players. That's a friggin nightmare for any team. I swear I wish fans like you would go away. Your a jerk toward all the teams you root for. Guys like you are an embarrassment to the Buckeyes fan base. You probably one of those Karen's that boos the team in the Shoe.

What part of what I said isn’t true? Since when can’t you criticize the shit product on the field? That was a pretty tame criticism, as everyone on earth was saying to run it more.

And no I’ve watched some of the worst Browns teams in history in person and have never booed a team I root for.

All over FB and Twitter you are the first person I’ve seen defend the trash product of the first half snd early 3rd. Fields was 10/25 with 2 interceptions and couldn’t have looked worse. He was 9/23 with 2 picks before Day could understand to run it with Sermon (who only had 200 yards at the time)

Sermon had 7 carries in the first half (for 60 yards). Then 20+ in the second with domination. It was an obvious criticism, so were the dumbass trick plays and Fields has under 115 yards and 2 picks. It was all obvious complaints. Maybe he started drinking early.

Kudos to them for figuring it out and the defense getting turnovers. And Trey Sermon for being a beast today.

"All over FB and Twitter" - if I'm in an opposite category than the hate spewing keyboard warriors on those two fountains of wisdom, I'm okay with that.

Buckeyes were without a huge chunk of their roster. Justin and others struggled as a result. Without Justin, we'd have likely not had the success we've had the last couple of years. The guy has an understandable off day and his play gets called "trash" by a bunch of armchair coaching experts?  Fyck that.

Can’t speak for if they are using the secondary field turfs. But both of those stadiums have two (I think Atlanta has 3, actually). Dallas is really quick when they change it out, and I imagine Atlanta is as well with the soccer/football sharing. They probably used a secondary turf and are swapping as we speak.

Indianapolis only has 1, so they actually have to paint over. Goodell probably mandated no college stuff on the fields tomorrow.

Barring a significant comeback, NDU is being stomped right out of the playoffs.

I blame the coaching the first 3/5 of the game more than Fields but Fields was awful. I know he’s been great most of his time but he was terrible without all of his guys.

How did NDU put 47 on this defense last time?  They are getting destroyed.

I don’t know who you put in, but ND at least can claim a win over Clemson even though no Lawrence. A&M would be next likely, but they got smashed by Bama in their only meeting. Cinci? 2 loss Florida or Oklahoma?...nope.

LOL, will the committee even watch the CIN game tonight?  I think they've been intentionally dropping them in the ratings each week to avoid the debate.

But it should be CIN because they're undefeated and no one else really has a better case.  When you don't have a clear cut 4th, the first question should be can I clearly eliminate someone?  Yes, you can clearly eliminate NDU and A&M - both had convincing losses to other playoff teams, and that should matter.  The other teams, except CIN, have 2 losses.

As of right now, it seems pretty clear it's A&M.  It doesn't make sense how the committee could suddenly jump CIN several spots over top of them.

I don’t think they belong, but I would not at all be surprised to see ND on that 4 line tomorrow.

If you aren’t giving Cincinnati a shot (which, clearly they aren’t) I think ND has a better argument than A&M. But can’t really complain either way.

Not sure I agree.  NDU got blown out much later in the year, by another playoff team, than A&M did.  The argument for NDU is they also beat Clemson a month ago, but I have to knock that a good bit as it was at home, vs. the backup QB, in double OT.

Also, you have to consider how disrupted it was for a lot of schools early in the year with practice because of Covid.  Although I don't think A&M would have been as affected as the Big Ten teams.

I think I'd rather see A&M of the two.  No interest in a potential third NDU/Clemson tilt, but A&M getting a re-match against Bama is marginally better.

It would be ND vs Bama. So no rematch. Unless both won, in which case good call by committee.

Assuming Alabama wins, think it’s:

1. Alabama

2. Clemson

3. Ohio State

4. Notre Dame

I think Clemson should be #1, but they’ll stay at #2 to avoid a third matchup with ND.
