No chance he plays against ND.

Wonder if it’ll be a “false positive” 😉😉😉

He has mild symptoms according to his coach.
Hopefully he’ll be okay with it but I’ll also believe he’s not playing when he doesn’t actually play.
He’s ruled out for Saturday already. It comes down to when he tested positive — which of course they won’t say — for the status of ND.

He was tested yesterday. They count the day of the test(which is ridiculous) so the 10th day would be Friday. However, the ACC also says a player has to be fever free for 1 day after completing the 10 day isolation. So he SHOULD be out for next weekend.

I understand being out this Saturday. I just think the sports world is looking around at each other wondering if he’s really going to be out for ND or if they’ll figure out a way for him not to be.
Pat Forde reporting his ten day window will be finished before the game but how Lawrence is doing will also have to be taken into consideration obviously.
posted by wildcats20ACC protocol says a player must sit out for 10 days following a positive test.
That makes sense. I was reading guidelines from some school, and just normal students the rule was to quarantine 10 days "after the start of symptoms". Apparently, the viral load drops significantly @7-8 days and by day 10 you basically are no longer infectious (provided no fever).
So that policy is smart. The Big Ten 21-day policy not so much.

I believe it's 10 days if you've been fever free for 24 hours, not 10 days and THEN another 24 hours with no fever.
And for all intents and purpose, testing positive is the same as being symptomatic. It's about a 7-day window where you're shedding enough virus to infect someone.

Or maybe Clemson will have more cases and not be able to play. If Clemson doesn't play ND, they stay in top 3, while a loss hurts them. Each team has an open week later in November, but they are different weeks. I don't know if the conference schedule could be adjusted to move it to the 14th or 21st or not.
Time for Harbaugh to go.
Harbaugh to the Jets.
I hope they re-up Harbaugh for ten more years. I LOVE this guy. Go Bucks!
Dabo just told reporters that Lawrence is out against Notre Dame.
This sucks. No win for ND now to. But this game is no longer a true #1 team going on the road vs a top 5 team.
Clemson with a loss would still likely run the table. Then if they beta ND in ACC Title game they would go.
I hate that rule in football. The backwards pas momentum thing. No reason for that Rutgers play to be deleted from the annals of CFB history.

I really am not sure it wasn’t clearly backward. It was ruled on the field as legal and you can’t see the ball when it’s released to definitively say it went forward. And as funny as the big lineman just heaving it up over head is, it was actually a pretty smart play.
3 plays is all it took for OSU to show its dominance over PSU.

He let it go just before the 36/just after 35, and it was caught just past the 36. But, the point is, it went behind him. Just because momentum takes these close pitches "forward" doesn't mean it wasn't a backwards pass. It was definitely thrown behind himself.
B1G has instituted the false positive policy.
Cal-Washington game cancelled. One Cal player tested positive. As bad a Big Ten is set up to fail, this seems like a guaranteed failure.

Right. I think the rule in the Pac-12 is that everyone he's ever met in his life must quarantine for 6 weeks as well.
