Ben is out. Some elbow issue after every throw. Mason Rudolph in and makes great pass to Moncrief for big 1st down but he misses it and gets intercepted. 100% on WR.

He had 4 drops last week and a crucial one this week. He really needs cut.

Steelers looking decent, dline looking great but I’m guessing Seattle gonna pin their ears back now with Rudolph in.

Why is Donte Moncrief allowed to exist? Worthless POS...

How is the nfl allowing Miami to be this bad?

Should’ve been delay of game on that 15 yard run by Wilson. Can’t believe they let that go. Huge no call. Clock hit 0, look up and ball still not began to be snapped.

Will Miami win a game this year? 59-10 following by 43-0. Woof.

Saints are totally done if Brees is out for any extended time.

Bridgewater looked about as ready to take over as you or me

A few weeks ago Deion Sanders had a hot take that Roethlisberger wouldn't make it through the season. Not due to injury but because his heart/head was no longer in it and he'd retire. Doubt that happens but he's looked pretty underwhelming.

If I were a Steeler fan I'd be a little concerned that this was a non-contact injury. Sounds like he was supposedly dealing with this all week and the team was aware of it.

2 things...

1. That roughing the passer call on Denver was absolute garbage.

2. No way in hell Trubisky got a TO called in time.

It’s whatever really. Quick evaluation and they look like about the 22nd best team. Ben probably didn’t work much in offseason or preseason and probably tendinitis in elbow. He didn’t look comfortable. I know he’s impossible to read with the countless cry wolfs but it looked pretty real. Regardless Rudolph looked pretty good, out receivers are very meh though. Not going to be a great offense. Defense showed signs. Didn’t have great fortunes that game, had chances to win. It’s Tomlin’s job to get them over the hump. Right now they smell like a 6 win team.

If he didn't come back into the game, and had the chance to do his "rise from the ashes like a phoenix/hero" bullshit, and couldn't, I'd imagine he's dealing with something significant. As a Browns fan (and you mentioned it too), we all know he's all about the high drama and saving the day. If he couldn't today, he's dealing with something.

What has surprised me more than how anemic their offense has looked is how bad their run defense looks. Their pass rush is solid (Tuitt looked good) but that run D got gashed. That part of their game is usually pretty consistent.

DB’s continuing to allow receivers to get beyond them in situations where that’s basically the only thing you can’t allow.

These are the best in the world and just not a bit of understanding of situations. Cris Collinsworth calling it amazing and I’m calling it bonehead

Bengals lose by 30 and look hopeless, last in my work weekly pick 'em, my fantasy team might lose barring Landry has a good game tomorrow night. Let me bottle this up for July of next year when I'm bored and missing football. "Hey don't miss it too much. Your favorite team sucks and so do your guesses."

Well my stuff isn't as bad as yours... since my favorite NFL team actually looks like they might be good. But I feel you on the fantasy teams and pickem stuff. I've been terrible these first 2 weeks.

This might be it for Ben's career. Hearing Tommy John.

  • Ben probably retires
  • Vinatieri rumored to be reiterating this afternoon
  • Brees retirement after this season wouldn’t shock me

Haven’t read the whole Klemko story on AB. But another incident — this time with an artist (he stood behind her naked with a hand towel covering his junk while she painted).

And I guess a whole bunch of other buzzard incidents. From police interactions, to not paying people for service and more.

I don’t think this guy is long for the league at this rate.

Meh, if anything, it'll be a great chance to see if Rudolph is the guy going forward or if they'll need to be looking towards the draft to get Ben's actual replacement. Dude is 37 and showing a definite regression (last couple years have seen a transition from "clutch 4th quarter Ben" to "WTF was that pick?!?!?" Ben. I didn't have the highest of expectations coming into the year, with most of any optimism I had coming from how I didn't think anyone in the division would be all that good (ie: 10-6 would be good enough to win it) and whoever did make the playoffs would likely be fodder for KC or NE, so sure, work the young guy and hopefully he can provide competence and a spark and, at worst, this is a transition year where they know what they need to do in order to not fall off a cliff in the future due to not being prepared when aging, declining QB falls off the map production-wise and/or retires.

Guess they’re not worried about a qb replacement... kinda weird

No shit. If Rudolph doesn't pan out they could have a pretty high draft pick in 2020 and need that pick for a QB.
