Marketplace in itself should do

The marketplace is ok. But there are private groups that are much more trustworthy.

GOLF CLUB TRADERS (bunch of logos as its pic)

Club Junkies Marketplace (golf hole with water as OOC)

Those are the 2 main ones that I use. There is big Ohio one, but I feel like people on there aren’t as reliable.

If you end up buying from someone, only pay them using PayPal Goods and Services. With that you are protected and can file a claim if they ghost you and don’t send the item. It happens from time to time. There is also a group with reviews for the GOLF CLUB TRADERS group, but no one really posts about who they had a good experience with.

Oh and don’t buy from someone who doesn’t have a paper with handwritten name and date on it. It’s supposed to be a rule of selling, but the admins miss some occasionally.

Went out my final time of the season....played 13 holes and played 2-3 balls trying different shots. Got some extra distance from my driver and found my irons (wasn’t getting my wrists into my shots).....felt like the old me. Loved it

Played today. Dreary and overcast but it was nice to play and not be sweating profusely.

I’ll probably play 2 more times this fall yet and call it a year. This is my 2nd year of golf and I got about 15-17 rounds in this year (with having a baby during April so I didn’t play for about a month).

Hopefully next year I can get about 20 rounds in and be consistent high 80s player.

Walked 9 at a local muni this afternoon. I hadn't swung a club in close to two weeks so I wasn't expecting much. I was +10 thru 5, with 1 par, but played the last 4 at even par (1 birdie). I was a little unlucky off the tee on 9 and ended up in a grove of trees after clipping a tree limb.

Once I put the driver away all seemed to click just fine. A bad tee shot puts my head in a place that expects a bad second shot, and of course that comes true. Stay out of trouble off the tee and my second shot is usually fine.

Played in a golf tournament this weekend. 54 holes for the tournament, and then an 18 hole scramble for fun. My partner and I ended up winning the tournament which paid out for day 1 winners (36 holes), day 2 winners (18 holes), and overall winners. We swept those payouts. I also snagged a closest to the pin and a skin.

Format was:

Friday at Elks Run in Batavia, OH:
9 holes best ball
9 holes shamble
9 holes modified alt shot
9 holes best ball

Saturday at Snow Hill in New Vienna, OH:
9 holes best ball
9 holes modified alt shot

There were 6 teams. We finished -15 for the weekend, two teams tied at -9 for second place.

Getting near my teaching area. Snow Hill is a good course.

Now I only played it 1x and I was supposed to be at my day 3 of freshman orientation at Wilmington but was homesick AF and left and went golfing. Played with guys on the golf team while they were practicing...beat them all but was there for baseball.

Easy to guess how my career at Wilmington College went lol

Played in an outing yesterday at Royal American in Galena. We shot -18, 16 birdies, an eagle, and a par. We tied for the win, lost on a scorecard playoff to a team that had 2 pros on it. Both of which are the pros for that course. Scorecard playoff went all the way to the 15th handicap hole, number 10, par 5. They eagled, we birdied.

Just got back from a golf outing at Virtues this past weekend. I've done the event 4 times, it's usually just played in Cincinnati but we decided to travel this year. I was not upset we played in my hometown.

It was 4 teams of 4 guys, 54 tournament holes broken down into the following 9 hole rounds: best ball, alt-shot, shamble, best ball, best ball, alt-shot. My team won by 5 strokes and I had an unbelievable weekend reading/putting the ridiculously hard greens.

We stayed in one of the new cabins they built on the course. Highly recommended if you've got a big group playing.
