Taking a bar shit is an aggressive move.

I'll only do it at a dive bar with no stall doors.

Try Italy.  Most of their toilets do not have the seat.

I finally saw the actual ordinance. It’s not that bad, but the tweet responses are right to your point. My “hill jack” city in the South already had them or most of them (maybe not the Uber one). Not statewide though.

Perch on the rim of the bowl and make aggressive eye contact with everyone that walks in.

Yeah that’s not bad at all. Feel like that should be everywhere, as a bare minimum type rule. It’ll only help

We've had a statewide mandate in Alabama for about a week.  I don't think it's a big deal at all.  It take the pressure off of individual businesses who would like to have customers wearing masks, but don't want to try to enforce it and get people pissed.

So, like, pull your mask up while you chew after each bite?

No. If you're seated you don't have to wear it.

I see "actively eating" and I think Joey Chestnut....

No. They literally just released their return to play protocols. Saying August 1st is still the plan to go “live “.

When you have to shut everything down for two weeks with each positive case, how can they go on like normal.

Have a good friend who was just in DC. She said that you can’t go to a restaurant without a reservation, have to wear a mask everywhere, you order food through an app, you even have to order a bathroom trip through the app. Someone comes to your table and asks “who ordered the bathroom trip?” And says you can go now.

And there are some good little comrades who take it.

That is asinine.  If someone is sick, send them home.

Mandatory "practices" start Aug. 1......that doesnt mean season game play can start.  They are discussing modifying start dates for competition.

Whole schools and sports teams will be shut down then.   You could have 2 weeks with no football opponents.

I’m not arguing with you. It’s just what they’ve resorted to doing. It’s abundantly cautious, which isn’t right or wrong. But it does make school and sports near impossible IMO.

Correct. They could very well move “competition” date back, but practices as of now seem to be a go still.
