Question for folks. Are you actually wearing masks properly? I.e. never touching them after putting them on, washing hands thoroughly before and after putting it on and taking it off, never wearing a disposable mask more than once, and washing cloth masks after every single use?

Might as well get to your point

Yes. My wife sewed me several double sided cloth masks that fit well around my nose and face. I don't have to adjust it really that much. If I do, I make sure I sanitize my hands soon there after. I also make a habit of not touching anywhere near my face anymore.

Masks are required in my office. If it is just me in my office, I have mine off, but if someone comes in, I throw it back on making sure to just touch the ear loops.

I also only wear it for the one day, then wash them all at the end of the week.

I was telling someone the other day, I've actually gotten used to wearing mine and being in an office with everyone wearing one. It is not hard.

It really isn’t hard. Is it a perfect science? No. Does it help? I believe it does. So I do it. And I try and do it responsibly as best as I can.

This is how I feel about it, too.

In addition, when I get gas, I wear a rubber glove on one hand and have a sanitized wipe in my other hand.  I carry a wipe if I go into a store, too.

Exactly this.

And I also know enough knowledgable medical professionals who I trust who echo similar statements.

REAL medical professionals, doctors, ER nurses, etc... on the front lines who've gone though and seen shit few of us could even imagine. Not some fuckheads posting their thoughts and opinions as as fact to push an agenda.

I just have a hard time keeping mine above my nose so I have to adjust it sometimes. I try to touch it as little as possible but I don’t go and sanitize my hands right after, either.

It’s not a perfect system and I believe deep down that some people are just more susceptible and going to get it and get it much worse than others. Sure there are plenty of examples of young people having issues with Covid, but from my professional experience it’s what kind of lifestyle did you already have. There’s a ton of theories that I’ve mentioned about blood type, vitamin deficiencies, preexisting conditions, etc. that make it worse for some. I think obesity and COPD really hurt your chances with it as well.

People a lot smarter than me recommend masks so i wear one. It’s not a big deal and it’s better than being a prick like Spock and QO and whining about your rights.

editorial opposing view we do not consent to masked america

Fine, don't wear a mask, just don't expect any sports in the fall then. You want football, wear a damn mask. Don't be a dick and and idiot.

I guess this doctor also hates vaccines and any other public health policy that requires wide support then too. JFC, what a crock full of shit article. Get the fuck outta here with that bullshit.

I'm guessing back in the old days, you would have been against anything we did to stop the 1918 flu or even the mandated polio vaccine later on.

Wear it correctly, yes.  It is important for person that does not know me to perceive that they will not get a virus from me

Wash the mask, yes, I wash all my clothes after use

I also wash my hands frequently and don't touch foreign objects as a general life rule

Keep it on, no, unless I am around strangers, I do not keep it on driving down the road

Lol wasn’t there a poster on here that said he was going to Europe and is going to lick some hand rails while he’s there (because he didn’t believe Covid was real I’m assuming)  and then never posted again.

Imagine how insufferable Tiernan would be on this thread.

Due to the ultra high use of sanitizer, do people touch ink printed gas/grocier/shopping receipts after applying the hand sanitizer?  Do people handle plastic with BPA after applying the sanitizer?

I was going to say you aren't so stupid as to not understand a company would need time to implement a policy like this, but on second thought, you likely are.
