Personally, I love Spock's constant bitching because everyone needs a little pick-me-up from time to time and whenever I read his whiny posts, I suddenly start to feel a fair bit better about myself as a person.

Walking into Walmart also improves self estem

They decided to pause the J&J vaccine for “7-10 days”... how many people will that kill compared to blood clots?

6 people out of 6.2m doses... very dumb.

Not dumb.  Corrupt.  My senses tell me nefarious intent behind this reccommendation.

I don't like to promote conspiracy theories, but I had similar thoughts when I saw that.  The two traditionally made, and cheaper, vaccines just happen to have the same very, very rare and deadly side effect?

I really need to buy Pfizer and Moderna stock....although I'll probably never own as much as Fauci   /Quaker

Blood clots are a side effect of the virus itself.  To act like they are dangerous because of the vaccine is stupid.

Eat your food with your masks on you selfish assholes. You’re going to get someone killed.

Imagine being this woman.

I read about half a dozen of this women's tweets.  She would definitely enjoy watching republicans being fed to lions.

48 hours after my second vaccine and I’m feeling a lot like this.  Exceptions: my arm isn’t hurting much at all and I have not gone outside except to potty the dog.  But I haven’t felt this shitty in a long long time.  But ......still very happy about being vaxxed!

My boss got his second shot Monday and said Tuesday and Wednesday was far worse than any flu or COVID he has ever had.

He said he didn’t get out of bed except to use the restroom both days.

Is feeling better, mostly, today.

Wait?  Wut?  Why would you get the vaccine if he already had covid?

I think another chart showing vaccination rates in those states would also show a more complete picture, that the mask mandate states have a lower vaccination rate of the total population.

So the masks are laced with COVID?

Of the top 10 most vaccinated states, 7 have mask mandates. The bottom 10 states in vax rates do not have mandates. DC ranks 44th, but isn't a state.

I know, I know. The testing rates are probably different, so that needs to be charted as well.

Remember that our restrictions being lifted is tied to getting down to 50 per 100k. Weird that numbers are going up even though people are getting vaccinated and we're all still wearing our masks.

I recall during the summer I said that masks are not as effective as people think they are, and if they were as effective they would open everything up (I.e. schools).

Its incredible the amount of people who thought and still think government mandated policies would suppress a virus. This was all done under the guise of “fOlLow TeH ScIenCe.”

Now they’re saying, at least for Pfizer, that a 3rd dose will probably be needed within 12 months. Never ending.

Mask mandate being lifted here on or before May 16. Party time!

There's been plenty of research to show they can be highly effective, but it still has its limits.  Wearing a mask in a crowded room for 8 hours probably wouldn't cut it.  But for an hour in the store or doctor's office they work very well.

I'm sure it will be annual.  Cha-ching!

Although there has been some evidence covid immunity could last a decade or more.  That's a different coronavirus, but at least that's a tiny bit more scientific than just assuming immunity only lasts 6-12 months.

Well, that's how it's been for flu shots, at least for those who get those annually, so I wouldn't know why a person would think a variant would be one-and-done.

I got my second shot yesterday. Traveled to Dallas today. I was dizzy when I woke up and probably had a fever all day as I was cold and I’m never cold. 36 Hours later I feel pretty good just a slightly sore arm.
