Never expected you to so blatantly take a pot shot at free market capitalism.

Not hard to predict his positions.  Just google the issue and "Trump's view on" and you'll have what you need.

I have a boss I sit next to, a boss in Barbados, and a "boss" in Canada. And they all have differing needs. Certain time periods become unbearable.

The sales people piss me off by giving money away like it grows on trees. No one treats it like they would treat their own money.

Their vagueness when asking for things is absurd. I swear they just want me to spin my gears for the hell of it to see if I will obey.

Keeping you guessing.

That you are, I'll admit.

Although when one party engages in ‘semi-free’ capitalism and the counterparty does not, I am not sure what you call it.

If it's 'semi-free' only in how that aligns with national interests, I'd call it economic nationalism.  And frankly, it's not that different from socialism, other than the fact that one theoretically forces the economy to bend to the benefit of the masses while the other theoretically forces the economy to bend to the benefit to the national interests.  Notably absent is any emphasis on the individual, based on the value he actually brings to the market, determining his own benefit, which is how economic freedom is supposed to work.

Yeah, but that's boring.

If you're very sick, don't come into the office, especially if you can work from home.  Seriously, go fuck yourself.

Agreed. And on the flip side of that, if your absence is going to cripple your coworker, and you know you’re going to be taking a “sick” day, just take a god damn vacation day so we can plan for your absence.

My coworker will “call in sick” on the Friday before her birthday weekend, when it’s -25 degrees, or the Friday after thanksgiving and she’ll call in 15 minutes before we start working.

I wouldn’t otherwise care but when she is not here, I have to handle her clients and it just means I have double the workload or I have to reschedule some of my clients/calls so I can take care of hers.

Just let me know beforehand so I can plan ahead and not find out an hour before work.

Agree. Also if you're an employer, don't offer rewards for perfect attendance. You probably mean well, but you're screwing everybody by needlessly exposing everyone to all kinds of illnesses.

My boss is the poster child for this. He has come into the office with a sinus infection, upper respiratory infection, flu, you name it. One time I asked him to stay home because I didn't want to get sick, and he replied, "if you get sick, you get sick. There is nothing I can do about it."

..................😑😑😑 You could stay home you selfish fucking idiot.

This is also the same person who came into the office the day after having rotator cuff surgery and just sat there in excruciating pain, unable to type or even answer the phone. Sure glad you came in, buddy!

Conspiracy theory: The actor who was allegedly beat up by two MAGA wearing bigots. The police/investigators can't find anything to support his story. I actually think he was roughed up by somebody. But probably not by who he is claiming did it. Triple threat conspiracy: fetish gone wrong!

I agree that his story sounds fishy.  It's way too neat and tidy.  MAGA white thugs roaming the streets at 2 am looking for homosexual blacks to beat up and threaten with lynching?

In negative degree weather. And they have surveillance and there is only a 60 second gap in it and then he walks into an apartment complex wearing a noose like a tie?  And won't give up his phone which would prove his agent's side of the story? Lol AND some MAGA supporter knows wtf the show empire is or who he is??

NBC is now reporting that he's refusing to let investigators use his phone as part of the investigation. I'm not sure how I feel about that. On one hand I would give over my phone if it could possibly help my case. On the other hand, I'm not sure I'd want strangers having access to stuff that has nothing to do with the investigation.

I wouldn't want to give my phone either, but if you're really trying to prove that your story is accurate and  your phone proves it then why not?

He sounds like an ass, but to be fair, an sinus infection isn't contagious (the rest are). I get those at least once a winter. Typicaly there is one day that you feel so bad (hit by a truck and shaking) that you can't go into work. After that you cough and feel bad but can work fine.

Had one this week as a matter of fact, took Monday off when I felt the worst, rest of the week have gone into work not feeling 100% because I know it isn't contagious.

I actually just got a procedure done in December, because this was happening so often with me.   So far I do not regret my decision (knock on wood).

The real question though, is why is this even news, let alone national news, and the same goes for the Covington kids.  So a person got roughed up a bit (maybe) in Chicago, which happens about every 2 minutes there along with shootings on the half hour. Then you have two people simply staring at each other on a sidewalk in DC, not even a shove, while others are being gunned down a few neighborhoods away.  And yet both are news stories, not just local, but national.  Why?

The ONLY reason is because the left and their media allies think they can manufacture these phony news events into consumable stories solely because they (fraudulently and miraculously) link all-things-Trump to the event.

There has never been so much reaching, nor so much fake news being exposed.  They have destroyed their own profession.
