NEVER use a debit card on-line.

Eh, it's not problematic by itself.  And about 99% of the time it gets stolen, the problem isn't with the website's security.  It's with the user's machine.

Still, everybody accepts PayPal these days, and they have both great security and great fraud protection.  Really no sense in not using a payment surrogate service like that.

For the record, my near-miss a few weeks ago was the result of someone using a skimmer on a gas pump card reader.

Had my debit card stolen today.....been used as far as the Netherlands

I went from December 1999-November of 2017 without a CC and never had my Debit Card info stolen and then it was done so 3 different times in a few month span.  I tracked the two down, one I believe at a hotel in Milwaukee and the other at a gas station, (No idea the other time) so I ended up getting a CC to use because of those reasons.

Plus, paying cash wasnt always the best for building credit it seems!

Now the debit card gets only used to take out cash and occassionaly at the local grocery inside.

Sorry, bought one package, put them in plastic bags, and soaked them in rubbing alcohol.

Did you tent it, or was the covering touching the plants?

If he's as intelligent at doing gardening as he is at posting, there's a good chance that by "covering", he just threw a few grocery bags in the general direction of his garden.

A Ukrainian NGO, with some ties to our state dept, had made a list of people who are critical of the Ukraine war. Rep Jim Banks has been notifying the people on this list.

Ukraine and all of its warmongering lapdogs can fuck off "six ways to Sunday".

Not sure how a nation invaded by a foreign power with intentions of rebuilding an empire can be classified as a warmonger.  Tactics to solicit help well that should be scrutinized.

Trump was mocked by the media for being taken to the bunker while the left was "protesting" outside.  Others get hard time in the fed pen.

Between NATO doing what it does ( Putin redlined NATO on a Russian border, which is a class of discussion all by itself) and the lure of pillaging the natural resources of Ukraine...

...what a fine opportunity for the military industrial complex to jump on.

I'm sick of all the shit. Sick of forever wars. Sick of all the people who didn't learn a thing from Iraq. Not one fucking thing.

Putin redlined NATO because he wants an easier opportunity to get those nations back.  No nation has joined NATO by force of arms.  I know an entangling alliance is a double edged sword.  I have not heard a complaint of any NATO member of their natural resources being pillaged.  The biggest criticism is some members are not ponying up and use security to bolster their social programs. Valid criticism.  War is at the doorstep so their is a shift in priorates.

As for Ukraine's resources would it be a good thing if the Russians by force of arms gained control of them?

The Ukrainians using their ingenuity have sidelined the Russian Black See fleet without a surface navy.   The Russians believe they win wars with bodies.

There is a time for war and a time for peace.  Unjust wars in the past do not negate that truth.

Oh, don't get me wrong, it's not just NATO. Ukraine/Zelensky deserve a whole heap of criticism, too. So does our military industrial complex. So does the very idea of sending hundreds of billions to Ukraine.

And I will criticize all of it.

Edit to add:

Skip to 32 minutes, this is when the transition to this topic begins to blend in. I think RFK Jr. and Dave Smith give a pretty good rundown and background on the timeline of events.

Watched the video.  I feel like I need to clear my throat.  Some truth.

Two things:  My uncle kept us out of war.  The Russians are killing Ukrainians at a 5 or 6 to 1 ratio.  The context was military.  A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.
