I don't watch or follow fox news. I had never even heard of OAN until that reporter asked Trump the stupid question about is Chinese food a racist term. I guess only following sports shit and then conservatives that I define as not crazy I wouldn't see it. No shit. I remember being annoyed last week when Rand Paul was trying to stop things to put in a qualifier about getting out of Afghanistan. And now he has CV. Makes me think the best solution is if 99 more people in the Sanate (and, what the hell, everyone in the house, as well) gets it and nature runs its course. At the least, the country will improve!

The vote was 47-47 because several Repub Senators were in quarantine and couldn't vote.  I think that's kind of a problem they need to fix.

Yeah, I'd have to think there is a problem that EVERYONE can agree on when you have a situation like:

1. We need 60 votes to pass something!

2. A number of people are in quarantine and can't vote...

3. WELL THEY HAVE TO BE HERE, IN PERSON, AND THAT'S THAT!!!!!!!!

4. Wouldn't that mean, in theory, that if enough people here get sick, it'd be impossible for anything to pass, even if it had near-unanimous support?

I wish this was a constitutional amendment.  We would either see further gridlock (fine by me) or both parties meeting in the middle and actually be help for the entire country.
