There’s a slippery slope in here somewhere and I don’t know where the line gets drawn firmly, but an “unusual” sexual behavior one day becomes “acceptable” the next and them “perfectly normal” the next.  There are infinite letters and symbols that can be added to the moniker.  

I believe maybe a percentage or two of our population truly is gay, that true trans is probably not even measurable and primarily due to mental illness.  I think most of this shit will go away in time as people lose interest.

Idiots like MTG keep it alive every bit as much as the most attention seeking drag queen.

I think it’s a tough call either way. I don’t think anyone chooses to sign up for it. Parents or children. I don’t think anyone “grooms” someone to do it. All of the stories are sad. I can’t say what I would do but I would rather my child transition than kill themselves. Children who have to live with parents who tell them they are mentally Ill has to make it even worse. I don’t agree with the headline of this tweet but listening to this woman’s story without judgment I feel for her child more than I feel for her.

That's interesting, since up until a few years ago it WAS considered a mental illness.

Two questions for you geeblock.  If I'm extraordinarily uncomfortable having two arms, you wouldn't consider that a mental illness?  And you'd consider amputation a viable treatment? But if I'm talking about a penis it's all OK, right?

I dont think there is enough data or studies to ever truly know.  Im not sure if doctors always know or all agree.  I believe when you are talking about billions of people that errors can occur.  I think that just like you can be born with six toes or you can be born with a third nipple, you can be born with the wrong "Switch" turned in your brain.  I call that an anomaly but if you want to call it a "mental illness"  thats fine.  The point is that some people seem to physically not be able to live in a body where they feel they dont belong in.  Im comfortable with the current system we have always had where parents, doctors, and psychologists make that decision.  I am 100 percent against government getting involved in medical decisions.  This is my opinion based upon just my personal opinion.  You also could be correct.  But even you have to admit that you don't know for sure that it isnt something physical and not just mental illness.

Tim Pool recently had Jazz Jennings on his podcast. If you can, go watch or listen to it.  While I never watched Jazz's show, they talk about how Jazz transitioned (MtF) very young, now regret is building by the day, they refuse to dilate themselves anymore, dating women. 

The facts that we do know:

- trans people almost always have underlying mental health issues like severe depression and anxiety.
- the pre trans mortality rate doesn't change after transition, the amount is atrocious, something like 40%
- there is currently a spike in detransitions
- current activism (including political) is pushing for parental input to be left out of the equation altogether, favoring other entities such as homeless shelters and schools
- social media dependency makes it easier to wrongly self-diagnose, therefore wrongly self identify

From the caption it looks like it was a commercial on Argentina Twitter. I’m not sure it would fly in America now. But I also think the audience of Sprite is way different than Bud Light. (I honestly can’t remember the last time I saw someone drinking a Sprite).

So there's an exposure of hypocrisy within the gender cult now, due to somebody in Indiana (Muncie). 

For those who don't want to watch the vid, here's a brief synopsis:

A white councilman male comes out as a lesbian Indian woman. Gender cult members show up and say things like 'you're not trans, I know better', 'I feel he made hate speech' and then they go on to say that they are demanding their resignation.  The councilperson then goes on to say "You do not get to question me. You do not get to require proof from me. You required women to help establish these rules and set the bar."

So much like the gatekeeping of AAVE (which actually originates from white people in various parts of the UK) that we have even seen happen on this forum, there is also gatekeeping of who can claim what gender. Hence, the absolutely farcical hypocrisy of the gender cult. A fine display of fuckery.

So, Florida Gay Pride Parade was cancelled. Apparently the legislative bills that DeSantis is expected to sign would limit attending such events to age 21. Now, I disagree with the age. I think should still be the standard. That is to say, if 18 is old enough to go kill/get killed in war, it should be old enough to go to parades of this nature. Eighteen is also the age of consent there, which does tie in to what happens at these parades. So yeah, 21 is not a number I'd agree on. 

But, other than the listed age, I do agree that kids shouldn't be flagrantly exposed to such things. I'm sure we've all seen some of the actions that happen in these things. I personally don't care what adults do with each other at these events, but come on, kids shouldn't be exposed.

The REAL question that is still in my mind is what the fuck is wrong with the parents who have brought their kids to these parades, drag shows, etc?!

I'm catching up reading through things and this one made me laugh.

Serious question: Have you ever been to a pride event?

I've been going to them for almost 20 years now, from Columbus, to DC, MD, and VA. They have been full of families and great events. Hell, at one of the festivals, I signed up for Costco. I've had friends and family with their kids attend their events and it is fine. 

I'm not sure if that matches whatever you are seeing on social media, but your view is laughable and sheltered to me.
