Lets cut the department of education at the federal level........give it back to state where it belongs.  We can fund all kinds of shit with that wasted money.

Nice work citing an article contradicting yourself dipshit. Why do we need a wall if the agents were able to seize the load without it?

Yea because we catch all of it?  I bet we catch less then 1%

Do you believe a wall will affect the drug trade?

Over 90% of all drugs in the US comes across that border.  It would have to have an affect

But Trump does and claimed credit for it when it was high. Therefore, it is his when it is low and he is bashing the Fed.

The Fed doesnt need to make all these statements about the market that makes people scared and sell off.  The economy is just banging away, jobs are plentiful, wages are rising, taxes are lower, revenue to the government is up.  There is no reason to scare the markets.

Don't you get all whiny when people say the same about more gun control? By the time the wall is done these people would already have a plan in place. They have nothing but time and an insane amount of money.

Bro, yes they do. They do that every quarter.

The markets are getting skittish.  If the Fed had come out and said they were pausing, the market freaks out wondering what the Fed knows they don't, and worrying things really are slowing down.

Maybe could have used different language, but sometimes you're damned if you do, damned if you don't.  I'd also guess with markets down overall this year that there was a lot of tax selling to create some capital losses and carryforwards.

90% may be correct - although it seems a little like a number you came up with. Regardless, don’t you anticipate the drug cartels just might be clever enough to find another way to move their product. I won’t be shocked if their new routes aren’t already being planned or even in use. Be practical.

Trump’s wanting to spend all this money to keep these “bad ombrés” out.  It would probably be more impactful to wall off the east side of Cleveland or eastern Kentucky.

That and the fact that the leaches sucking the tit of our tax dollars.....the unfairness to our job markets......unfairness to the thousands of people in line trying to get in legally.

Google it and you will find numbers all over the place due to biased media.  Somewhere north of 70 billion.

Yeah, it's sort of important that there's some semblance of open disclosure regarding the market, particularly since ... you know ... it's only been a decade since a financial crisis that largely resulted from an absence of open disclosure.

Then again, I'm not surprised that this is what Spock came up with.

To suckle at that tit, you need a SSN.  Guess who doesn't have a SSN.

As for the lack of fairness in the job market, whose jobs are they stealing?

LOL at you thinking illegals dont have a SSN.  My brother runs a large company in NC and he had 12 people with the same SSN.

Regardless, do you think a wall will stop the drugs moving into the country?  You made the point that 90% of the drugs come in over the border. So if the wall goes up, will that reduce the drugs coming in by 90% or something quite high like that?

Assuming Trump understands that basic supply and demand will hold true in the drug market with or without a wall, I believe then his reason for the wall is to keep dark skinned people out.  They are different, so they are evil and scary.  I have yet to see a compelling case as to why his motivation is anything other than this.

Given the fact that all total social programs combined cost the average tax payer a few dollars a year I don’t think it’s a huge issue

The "average" taxpayer pays next to nothing. OTOH, those of us who pay our share and tens of other peoples' shares, all government spending (aka theft) is a pretty big deal.
