Sounds like a good match. I think I'll fly home to see that game.
  • Sykotyk
That would be a good match up. Where would Buchtel go, back to Week 1?

I heard Buchtel is Week 10.
  • FairwoodKing
I would rather keep playing O'Hara in Week 10. It gives us somewhat of a breather between the regular season and the playoffs.

    Bet that makes O'Hara happy.

They haven't beaten us in five tries. You would think they have learned something.

Drive 6-8 hrs when you know you're going to get your tail kicked. Big Red cuts them a nice check...Hey, whatever pays the bills I guess.

I know one thing for certain: Reno is going to continue to play O'Hara and Buffalo St. Joe's and Baltimore Mt. St. Joseph and Brooke and the others for as long as they are willing to play us. One time I suggested he drop Wheeling Park. He threw a tantrum. "WHO WE GONNA PLAY? WHO WE GONNA PLAY?" he yelled at me. I thought he would never stop screaming.

See if I have this correct...I was told from a higher up in Big Red football Reno schedules 6 teams he knows he can beat, 3 teams he's pretty sure he can beat, and 1 team he hopes he can beat. Have you ever heard this?

Then why did he schedule Ursuline and Massillon back to back in 2010?

    1. YOU ARE INCORRECT

No but that's usually what I think when I see the schedule

Well, it's pretty obvious that at least the first part is true.

After piecing two and two together, this is what I have come up with:

    Week 1:
    Week 2: Cleveland Benedictine
    Week 3:
    Week 4: Brooke
    Week 5: @ Massillon
Week 6: Baltimore Mount St. Joseph
    Week 7: Ursuline
    Week 8: @ Morgantown
    Week 9: Buffalo St. Joe's
    Week 10: Akron Buchtel

These are assumptions of mine, not cold facts. But I think I am correct.

It would be kinda hard and stupid to try and schedule 6 teams you think you couldnt beat . Tell me what coach that does that genius

    Stupid? Maybe. Hard? Not really.

Id say hard too . I mean even all the top teams around have slots filled . Big Red is a premier team like it or not . Who are we going to play that would be a favorite against us and that doesnt already have commitments ? The GCL is a league St Eds? Mck is in the fed . the university of Mooney would have to have a same open date . When we have a strong team we are top 5 in the state in any division anyway . we were last year like it or not . so who are we going to schedule . it aint happeneing

You weren't close to top 5 in the state last year. That's just stupid.

The GCL teams have 7 open dates every year to fill. Almost all of them would probably come to Harding. St. Ed usually has at least 4. Colerain has trouble filling weeks 1-3 every season. If you really believe you're "top 5 in the state," then get on a bus a few times and prove it on the field.

says you .. We are better than you think but thats ok . BTW why should we schedule D-1 schools anyway just to suit people like you

BTW why do we have to proove anything to the many haters out there . Have your squad win a few titles then, tell us how to run our program . . If we are going to play some D-1 superpower then atleast have them come to our house to equal the playing field . We are not traveling more than 3 times a year and thats just the way its going to be .. we are in it to make tons of money for our #2 program in the state and I dont care who doesnt like it . We have 3 state playoff football championships and 3 state runners up trophies . we have several Big school championships when we were a big school . We have a top 3 stadium in any class in the state . We just love who we are and we are going to go with the same recipie that got us where we are . Call coach Sac and make your recomondations to him .

You're the one making silly claims about being Top 5 in the state. More often than not, the Top 5 is comprised of D-1 schools.

My team has won a few titles, including a National Title. You don't have to "prove" anything, unless you're going to continue to make stupid claims.

As I just said, X, Moe or Elder would likely travel to Harding without batting an eye. These teams already travel across the state at least once a year...sometimes twice.

I probably won't need to call Coach Sac, as I doubt he's stupid enough to make the claims you're making.
