To obvious, Orrville has there own saying. If is fixed break it.

I will refrain from criticizing the play of the qb, it speaks for itself. I will continue to question the play calling of the coach. Why did he continue to try the Pass when it's clear that we have no passer, when they run at will on Triway. There is a reason why west Holmes ran all over them. THEY CANNOT STOP THE RUN. They couldn't stop Orrville either but coach kept calling pass plays. Orrville was getting three to eight yards a carry. Go figure

I agree with everything you say RedRiderNation except possibly the late hits. Those were pretty lame calls. Those officials were horrible, I think Triway only had one penalty for the game. I counted at least four false starts and several holds not to mention a nice horse collar tackle that were not called. The signal issue must be a coach problem,I believe coach Mac used signals when he was here.

On a side note I had to laugh my a$# off when I heard the concession stand and ticket booth had naming rights. Naming rights for a ticket booth really ! Only in Orrville lol.

Both teams had 4 penalties. Two big no-calls were an obvious hold on Lichti's run that allowed him to get to the edge, and a blatant pass interference on Orrville down the middle that saved a Triway TD (ref grabbed his flag but didn't throw it). There were missed calls both ways, and some of them were big. Very even in the penalty/reffing department, IMO.

The wide receivers are a part of this team also and there was a lot of stone hands by #s 1, 4,& 22 on some catchable passes and on kick returns and they must catch the ball! A quarterback is only as good as his receivers and linemen help him. Any QB should not have to start they play by looking down at his feet for the ball and then try to find receivers when he looks up. This was a total team effort all around by both the offense and the defense as there were way to many defensive missed tackles and wide open receivers for big gainers all night long. There were far too many defensive breakdowns to just blame the QB for stone hands receivers not performing as they could. Did anyone keep track of dropped passes tonight?
What about last year and the year before that. Was it the receivers fault then too. This kid just doesn't have what it takes to be a good qb. Triway had a sophomore making his second start and you could see a world of difference between the two. He has the qb gene Orrvilles doesn't period.

Also disturbing was the fact that EVERY snap by our center in the 4th qtr was on the ground! Wonder why? The kid was exhausted. How is that possible? The disturbing part was the fact that our coaching staff couldnt recognize that and start putting Lichti under center. There is one coach on this team that makes adjustments and that was obvious in the 2nd half. The others? Not so much! This regime of coaches has worn out their welcome! I love it too at the end of the first half when the whole Triway team runs off the field including the coaches and Orrville coaches walk off. Leadership is seriously lacking in this program. It starts at the top guys and this guy just isnt getting it done! I know I'm not in the minority on this one. I am just one that isnt afraid to say it. There were many in the stands last night heckling him and I do mean many. I have always looked atg Orrville and the community and the fans as a program that is a smaller simulation of Massillon. Passionate people. Now ask yourself would Massillon put up with the nonsense frfom the coach that we do? They have run people out over there that dont win football games!

Ok Maybe it's not the qbs fault, maybe it's just we don't have any coach working on fundamentals with the qbs. There has to be a reason why every single team we face has a qb that is always superior to ours in every area By that I mean pocket presence, looking off defenders, not staring down one receiver, not always missing open receivers, decision making, not forcing into double coverage, holding onto the ball to long, taking sacs, throwing inaccuracy. I could keep going but I'll stop there. The point is other teams must have good position coaches working on fundamentals with there qbs we apparently don't.

Let's see we are going to run every down and see if they can stop us. Seven runs moving down field n,o problem, they can't stop us on the ground. What coach what's that you want to pass why, ok your the boss. First pass over his head, second pass three yards behind him, third pass nowhere near him. Punt the ball great play calling coach, some things never change.

I love all the pregame hoopla about the turf and who donated. It's funny they said all donations were important even the two dollar ones. Why wasn't anyone who donated two dollars invited to midfield. Hell I donated 25 that should have got me to the back of the end zone lol. I understand I'm not one of the important people in town. Politics as usual in Orrville.

Oh how I love all the excuses!!

    Titans of the Turf.........hell yea!!

Just FYI, we made a QB change after our Orrville game last year. Parker started 8 games at QB in 2011. Last night was his 10th start.

You completely missed the point..the large donors ($10k+) were recognized on the field but a thanks was given to ALL donors so as not to minimize anyone's contributions.

It wasn't politics as usual....whatever that means. Those dozen or so donors were responsible for over half of the money raised.

    Tk,
Seriously...thanks for your contribution to the turf project.

Some might say you lack humility and are just being self-serving by pointing our your donation, but not me.

Great community effort by citizens, businesses & alumni.

I did hear someone "in the know" say that Wooster WILL have turf next year...which will be great for the area & conference.

no I didn't miss anything. Where's the humility can't people be humble instead of looking for recognition. Now they can walk around town and be treated like royalty.

I see coach called team an embarrassment in the paper. Why didn't you call yourself an embarrassment you were the brain calling the plays. You were the one who stopped running what was working in favor of something we haven't been able to do in three years. I would say you pretty much solidified my opinion of your coaching prowess last night. Imagine another big game another loss. Again magnificent play calling and great coaching.

That's typically what poor leaders do. Look in the mirror coach if you want to pass some blame!

    yep

This pretty much says it quoting coach in paper. It's pretty frustrating going out and playing like we haven't even been coached. Now when the head coach says that to me that screams inadequate coaching.
  • Troll King
Isn't the team supposed to be a reflection of the coach . Look in the mirror coach there you shall truly see embarrassment.

    Go Bucks and roll tide.

I guess it could be worse, we could be Rittman.
