Apparently Wooster's AD does too -
mt1514When will they come out with the enrollment numbers? Would be interesting to see if there are any changes far as divisions go for next 2 years.
-
RRRock^^ I believe that it is sometime here in April that the numbers come out, not sure on the exact date?

it would be nice if a few schools would drop to d4, i know chippewa is and i know norwayne is right on the edge of d4 and d5 -
mt1514Norwayne was real close last time to d4, Smithville was not far from d6.
-
d3r3kNorwayne was placed in D4 the last time the numbers came out but I guess a week or so later they corrected the number and moved them back to D5.
-
RRRockAny word yet when this information will come out about the enrollment?

OQBMay...

Red RumI wouldn't be surprised to see Northwestern return to D4. Pay to play at neighboring Black River and ongoing financial problems at Cloverleaf will probably further kick start an open enrollment migration to the Huskies.

Or Norwayne -
THE4RINGZI would love to see the Huskies pick up some talent from open enrollment.

Good luck to the Riders, I enjoy watching them play. -

Smithville & Norwayne have the potential for big years.
IMO Waynedale will bounce back to contention
Hillsdale wont be as good as last year--but far from rebuilding
Northwestern--total mystery--anything from 8-2 to 0-10.
Dalton will rebuild for the first time in quite awhile
Rittman--new coach, new hopes---no Bauman. (Anyone heard if hes going to college to play football?)
Chippewa--reminds me of Northwestern in the 90's & Hillsdale in the 80's---the eternal rebuild. -

And really nice cars in the parking lot, not the teachers lot, the student lot. -

I've heard he may be getting a few looks but I don't see him playing at the next level. Also, Turbeville has decided against playing college ball (at least in ohio). -
1486wdwhat does chagrin falls have to do with anything?
-
Bloody Toothbrush1486....
Chagrin Falls & Orrville have nothing to do with this thread....looks like riderwannabe started a little back and forth and got "owned"........he deserved it.
It's real early to be forecasting the 2011 season. Anything can happen.......for instance, the 3-0 week 11 WCAL record.....Hell, I didn't think the WCAL would even get 3 teams in much less win all the round 1 games.
I think, in no particular order, that Norwayne, Smithville, Hillsdale & Waynedale will be the top half the league next year. Northwestern, Dalton & Rittman will all be in various stages of rebuilding and Chippewa will be utterly horrible again.
I also think that Northwestern & Norwayne will join Chippewa in Division 4 when they re-evaluate things. Medina county continues to grow and push people into the West Salem and Creston areas. The fact that both districts have newer centralized campus settings will also spur growth....and last but not least.....I agree, the financial troubles in BR and CLO will bring a bunch of open enrollments to NWN and NOR. -
