Agreed QB! Great job Riders. You showed the effort we are used to seeing around here. Great atmosphere for a football game. Thanks to Red Rider Nation for showing up and supporting your team. I saw Reggie Williams and Tyrone Barnett down on the sideline last night jumping around like kids during Turner's TD catch. Five different Riders found the endzone last night. Nice. Kyle will heal up...he seemed like he at least knew what was going on when you talked to him and said he felt fine late in the game. We'll need he and Drew down the road. Wooster QB did a nice job with that zone read. He really improved from last year. Anderson is a nice back, I won't trade though. YAC....Yard after contact is how I choose a back. Drew showed what athleticism can do. He looked like he was finally healthy after 4-5 weeks, /same with Turner last night. Good to be feeling better. I think the extra day helped a lot last week. Just a solid performance by a hard working group of fellas. Congrats...You deserve it. I thought Woo brought a great and enthusiastic crowd. Students on both sides were having fun during pregame hassling each other. Cannot wait for a play off game. Going for win # 596 Saturday night RR1? Correct?

    5k,
Yes...next win will be 596 and Coach Davault's 50th (in just 6 seasons)....just for comparison sake, McCreary has 69 wins in 13 seasons at Wooster.

Saturday will also be his 11th playoff game as a head coach.

Getting close to the century mark on this thread Rider Nation!
Keep up the good work! I have faith in you that you can get there! :D
Congrats to Orrville on a great season so far!
May the adversity you faced during the regular season translate into big things in the second season.
I believe you will do well in your region.

I don't put too much stock in to the plain dealer.....remember last year they had Triway playing in the championship.

Great job guys on your victory over tsot. It's to bad the writer for the daily record could not have mentioned the fact that our defense is really good. I mean we held a team putting up what 35 a game to 7 points. He of course had to write it was all big plays by us and alot of mistakes by them. He also said they lost there qb in the 4th quarter which limited what they could do. I think our defense did a damn good job of limiting them. What about us losing our starting qb after the 3rd play of the game. It would be nice to see for once a writer for the WOOSTER paper to write an honest, unbiased report of the game. If wooster had won by the same score we would read how we were dominated by them. Its the same thing every time they lose to us, mistakes by them and big plays by us. We never read how they were beaten by a better team. I mean there is a reason why they have lost 7 in a row.{ Oh yeah i forgot big plays and mistakes} Bottom line is they had not faced a defense as good as ours all year. Anderson was shut down as was there passing game. We held there qb to 10 yards passing and under a 100 rushing. We played with a wide reciever playing qb, so Aaron D please give a little credit where credit is due. wooster lost to a BETTER TEAM !

I understand that entire post Red Rider81, and I had to laugh after reading the game article on Sunday.....I say that because the Daily Record has had an obsession for Orrville sports because we have had a lot of success, and that is shown all year. BUT I understand why he wrote THIS article this way....it is a Wooster paper and he has to make the Generals feel good about themselves even in a 7th straight loss to a better Orrville football team.

That being said, let's worry about Labrae and our 22nd playoff appearance! :D

Absolutely agree 100%. That article gave no justice to the game or the players at all. Dorksen really missed the beat there.

81 and OQB hit the nails on the head. AD is forgiven in my book. Lol. I mean come on, had it not been for a few miscues and big plays by the opposing team we'd all be 10-0!!!!
