5knotsKempt for Massillon is only a Jr. biggest offer to date is Tennessee. Riders looked good. At times when I thought Kyle missed badly...I find out later often it was a case of a reciever not stopping in the hole....little things like that are hard to pick up in a 7-7. What I got from it was reassurance. Reassurance that we have speed and athleticism to be on the field with anyone. Now we turn that into Victories. Drew threw the ball better than I have seen him throw. He is a very capable back up which is reassuring. Kyle was a different kid compared to a year ago, very much improvement. NW game should again be a dandy. Great way to start the season playing a highly competitive team right out of the gate should get your motor running fast.

RedRider1Heard that Drew played DB. Is that the plan, or just a "one time only" thing. He's plenty capable at DB, but I like him back at safety helping on those jump balls.
Could be very interesting having him and Turner as your DB's. Who throws on us if that's the case? -

We'll have to try! .. unless we find a running back. -
riders16 Weeks and counting!
-
footballnutIf something would happen to Kyle and Drew would be our backup QB. Who else do we have at receiver? Who are they projecting is going to start on the O-line?
-
FlashCan't tell linemen until contact. Possibles: White , Summers, Brown, Lehtomaki, Siegrist, Lochard, Vance, Neer- Lemon -TE's, Vierheller, unnamed player from Norwayne-Wooster. Safeties at scrimmage: Samson and Ty White played the most. Corners: Turner, Brenner, Weaver , Graber.
-
5knotsBrandon Johnson in that mix for sure offensive and defensive back/receiver, Looks like Drew would get the backup call, Bryce Short (frosh) is someone to keep your eye on. Very athletic, smallish right now...but so is Demetrius Robinson for Michigan. He throws a nice ball and very quick feet. He could be a dandy in the near future.
-
Old RiderFlash...Neer is not going out from what I have heard. Dane Kick is another soph that is probably going to get a look up front. I would like to see Summers play the TE position. He has decent hands and is a punishing runner...just needs to get a bit faster. I think Weaver will be a guy that flies under the radar a bit, but will get noticed as soon as the pads go on!

Red Rider NationAgain I say I coach baseball in NW and these guys are buzzing about their team. I would like nothing more than the Riders to hang a 40 spot on them in Week 1 and set the tone for the season that when you play Orrville you will wake up Saturday not feeling too well. Gonna be a great season and I cant wait!!!!
-
footballnutDo we have someone from Norwayne or Wooster coming in? I heard a rumor about someone from one of the county schools that was coming a couple months ago. I dont know the name or from which school. It's getting a little late now
-
5knotsCouple new guys but no chase hoobler types so don't get your panties in a bunch about it
-
Riderwannabeno Hoobler but we have Monhiem
-
footballnutThe Hoobler types are hard to come by. A couple beasts on the line would be nice.
-
Brutusrider nation i hope you enjoyed coaching baseball at nw. lol
-
Brutusorrville you have alot of spped and a lot of athletes. turner had many picks against louisville that i seen. you guys will be in the hunt at the end of the year. looking forward to week one at red rider stadium.

FlashFBN the lineman was at Wooster and Norwayne but I don't think will be an impact player. Has size but no speed. I guess I didn't see Neer at the scrimmage (thought he might be on Vacation). Summers would be good at TE (didn't get any PT at the scrimmage there), but Lemon may be the favorite. I'm thinking Summers on the O line.
-
BobcatThere was a kid that was a lineman at Norwayne that went to Wooster after his freshman year but he didnt play. He was big but very rough. He would be a jr this year.
-
RedRider1Saw Chase over the weekend. He's ready to male an impact at IU.
Tim Hiller brings his Gull Lake team down from MI this Saturday. 7 on 7 at 10am I believe. Should be neat. -

I swear I thought to myself as you were right there....that's probably riders1. No lie.
I almost got the urge to get a region 13 map up the other night, but that's quite an exercise. Need more time than I had the other night. I'll get one done in the next few days if google maps doesn't give me trouble like it did the last time. -
FlashScore board will go in the week before the season and the lights the first week or two in August. 7 on 7 Friday in Akron and Saturday at home.
-
footballnutIs the 7 on 7 at Akron at the university?
