Browns BS Drama

Assuming they keep him, he'll be eligible for the last 5 games and this won't count as a contract year towards his free agency. Also assuming Goodell doesn't decide to hit him with a suspension.

I really thought he was going to be great smh.

So fucking pumped. Dudes a beast, can’t wait to have him back.
  • Verbal Kint
With the multi year suspensions, what is the contract and how long do they hold his rights?
  • Ironman92
I’ll be rooting for Gordon to return to his form...just not against my team.

    He’s been out forever
  • Crimson streak
Jesus he was so damn good. Glad he's back

They will have control of him for another year because he needed to play 6 games this year.

Sounds like the party soon will be over...

Now freeze the assets so Sashi can't screw this up any more, like releasing Gordon.

Could’ve sworn it’s two years. He’s a RFA after next season I believe. If he ends up being a beast he better fucking stay after the franchise stuck with him.

You may be right on the two years but I wouldn't bank on Gordon staying unless they get a real good QB.

LOL, I hope this is true. I like that Dee is getting into the mix. Hell, let her make the decisions, because her husband obviously can’t make any good decisions.

They need to hire somebody in the president role, where they respect and wouldn’t overstep him. This is why even though Manning has no experience, I wouldn’t mind if he was the president. I think the Haslems have enough respect for him, that they would let him do his thing.

I also wouldn’t mind the Chiefs ex-gm. I think COA brought him up in another thread. He was only canned by KC, because he and Reid got into a little penis measuring contest. That dude obviously knows how to build a team.

From what I've heard, Dee Haslam is the brains of the operation and has more of a grip on the football side than Jimmy.

92.3 had Albert Breer on yesterday and he said that if they blow this up, Manning will be Haslam's first call. Frankly, if Manning is his guy, he should contact him NOW and see if he'd like to "oversee" the operation for the last 8 games to see what he's going to need to fix.

I agree. If you’re going to blow it up, do it now. Get your execs in as early as possible so they can do proper scouting. They have 5 picks in the first two rounds. Can’t fuck around.

I think they'd probably keep the same scouts who probably have 2 years invested in scouting this current crop.

Agreed with what has been said, get a football guy in here and fire Sashi's useless fucking ass. Because a loser is a loser.

He should be fired and backballed from the league for missing on the Jimmy G trade, fucking pathetic. Just thinking about it makes me all

Evan Silva just pwns the Browns and the media covering them starting at 51 min mark. Great watch, we pretty much all agree.

It’s clear out front office doesn’t know what they’re doing. Dump um. Dump um all.
I read a rebuttal article today saying Sashi shouldn’t be chastised for leaving work on time and going to his family. Then go fucking work at Home Depot. I love my family as much as the next guy, but even my shitty job gets in the way of family time bc it’s work and it pays your bills. If you want to be in Sashis position, I don’t feel bad that work cuts into your kids play time.
  • iclfan2
There is no way they don’t all get fired. I’ll eat some S&L crow if these morons exist next year. Gtfo you don’t go into football to go home at 5, especially the day before the trade deadline. Stfu

Agree with this. That’s fucking horseshit hearing they go home before 5 every day.

This says they weren't home at 5, who the fuck knows anymore?

Bittersweet day in Houston yesterday. Celebrate a World Series victory and lose your franchise QB. This brought up an interesting question on the radio this morning. As Cleveland fans, which would you rather have, a Tribe World Series victory or a healthy franchise QB (ala Brady, Manning, Rapistberger (minus the rapeyness), Rodgers, etc) for the next 15 years? And for S&L, a Reds WS victory or the QB?
  • kizer permanente
WS easily. QB will come back.
