I’m starting to like the idea of josh rosen.
yes, we definitely need to draft a QB, but Rosen? hell no (and don't say "who then?" because I really don't know yet)like_that;1880029 wrote:I'm leaning toward Rosen in this early race as well. -

I'm cool with Rosen too from what I've seen, assuming we get to the bottom of the rumors of him being a bad teammate. I like that he's asshole, we need some attitude. I still like Mayfeild the best of all the prospects so far, and that's including Darnold. I also wouldn't QQ with Lamar Jackson, tho he's a distant 4th for me.vball10set;1880045 wrote:yes, we definitely need to draft a QB, but Rosen? hell no (and don't say "who then?" because I really don't know yet) -

This sounds like the plot from draft day when Kevin Costner didn't draft the QB, because nobody showed up to his birthday party.Commander of Awesome;1880047 wrote:I'm cool with Rosen too from what I've seen, assuming we get to the bottom of the rumors of him being a bad teammate. kizer permanenteWhat seems odd to me, and maybe S&l sees/hears more about it being a Chicago guy, but it seems like Trubisky is being overlooked this year. I know he’s not putting the numbers Watson is, but he’s making some really nice passes and nice reads. I know the bears are garbage, but he looks like he’s got a pretty high ceiling.

Laley23
Well he went 2 games and completed like 9 total passes. And the Bears won. So I'd basically disagree with both those statements right now.kizer permanente;1880083 wrote:What seems odd to me, and maybe S&l sees/hears more about it being a Chicago guy, but it seems like Trubisky is being overlooked this year. I’ve only seen highlights on twitter. I haven’t seen him play live yet. Granted most people look good in highlights.Laley23;1880088 wrote:Well he went 2 games and completed like 9 total passes. And the Bears won. So I'd basically disagree with both those statements right now. -
kizer permanenteSpecifically the pass where Zack Miller got hurt. The pass was placed perfectly with great touch.

Laley238/16 for 113 yards and a Bears win 27-24 (1 TD, took 4 sacks)
4/7 for 107 yards and a Bears win 17-3 (0 TDs, took 4 sacks)
Credit where it's due...he isn't losing games. But, yeah, Bears haven't exactly given him the offense yet. -
kizer permanenteYeah I honestly hadn’t watched him in a whole game or even know his stats. Just those little gifs people post on twitter. But I guess you could even make Kizer look good that way.

SportsAndLadyI’ve watched almost every bears game. My fiancé is a bears fan so we’ll watch them and the browns.
He’s playing like a typical rookie but even moreso since he’s started like 15 games since high school. Makes really good throws but isn’t given enough of a leash to show much. He also makes some reallly bad throws, too.
Bears fans and their radio guys are still pretty happy they have him. They seem to think with more experience the better he’ll be and that he has the tools to be an elite QB. I can’t say I disagree. -
Classyposter58Browns need to start drafting better, not just picking the hot thing out of college. Everyone keeps saying how well they drafted, yet these guys are totally failing to pan out. Amazing they passed on Watson and Wentz, would have totally turned it around. Even my Lions figured out how to get someone competent

This comes as no surprise, but classy has no idea what the fuck he is talking about again. -
kizer permanenteI’ve literally never heard anyone say the Browns draft well. Wtf are you talking about.

Heretic
And then went off the rails, paying him an NFL-record salary despite him having a glaring inability to lead the team to wins over any team better than mediocre.Classyposter58;1880137 wrote:Browns need to start drafting better, not just picking the hot thing out of college. ppaw1999The Browns should go ahead and sign Kaepernick. What do they have too lose? They are already the laughing stock of the NFL. I'm not talking about him being a franchise quarterback. They wouldn't have to give up anything to sign him. Let him go out there a take a physical beating for a few games. That would make more sense than playing their young quarterbacks and risking them losing whatever confidence they have left. It might be fun watching Kaepernick going out there with a bullseye on his chest.

iclfan2A bullseye from who? The players don’t seem to care about his kneeling and cop hating antics. Also, they have money to lose. People already not showing up to games, it would only be worse.

Maybe. Or it could make people show up just to watch the side show.iclfan2;1880227 wrote:A bullseye from who? The players don’t seem to care about his kneeling and cop hating antics. Also, they have money to lose. People already not showing up to games, it would only be worse.

like_thatLOL no on Kaep.
1. fuck him.
2. He’s a trash QB. I️ don’t know why people seem to forget this.
3. At this point I️ want nothing to do with having the browns “accidentally” win a couple games and not giving them first choice of QBs. -
ppaw1999
Yes he is trash. If the Browns are going to risk getting another quarterback hurt it might as well be him. I think they would still lose with him at quarterback. I totally agree that I want the Browns to lose the rest of their games.like_that;1880243 wrote:LOL no on Kaep.

Does anyone actually GAF if any of the Browns QBs get hurt at this point? There is absolutely no reason to sign Kaep at all.ppaw1999;1880270 wrote:Yes he is trash. If the Browns were drafting the "hot thing out of college" the franchise probably wouldn't be IN this mess. If anything, they get too cute and try to show everyone how "smart" they are and trade down. Wentz was the "hot thing." They passed. At the time, TheRapist was the "hot thing" and they passed. Same with Ladainian Tomlinson, etc, etc. If they would've taken everyone the pundits & fans THOUGHT they were going to take, the franchise wouldn't be a diarrhea protein shake.Classyposter58;1880137 wrote:Browns need to start drafting better, not just picking the hot thing out of college. -
