Glad this didn't happen. They had a deal in place at 3:55pm but the Browns failed to call the league offices in time. So, in typical Browns fashion, poor clock management.

If Twitter is telling the truth (often, a big "if"), they made the trade and celebrated making the trade, but forgot to call it in, which just adds an extra layer of "WTF?" to the proceedings.

I have a major issue that our Front Office is completely incompetent. I didn't want McCarron either but for fucks sake they couldn't even logistically make a trade. That's fucking scary to think about.

These dipshits offered a 2nd & a 3rd for a guy who can't beat out Dalton? Jesus, they probably could've gotten Garoppolo for less than that, had they tried.
