The only reason it's carrying any weight is because he's done it before. It sucks we have to listen to it for the next 12 months though. Can't wait for a four-game losing streak in January and everyone's like "omg whats wrong with the Cavs is Lebron already thinking about teaming up with Wade in LA"
Pretty much, and that explains why we have seen Lebron is leaving reports every season, except for this past season where he was locked in for at least one more year.

As FFL stated, Lebron has done it before, so I won't say there is 100% chance he doesn't leave. Most of this he is leaving shit is pure speculation.

Can any of you guys give me a legitimate situation for Lebron where he has a shot to beat the Warriors? The media sure hasn't.

I don't think LeBron will leave, but I think he enjoys hearing the rumors. He could easily end these rumors by signing a longer contact.

Chicago sun times is reporting Butler is actively pushing the Bulls to trade him to the cavs.

That's not surprising. Jimmy loves kyrie. He would be beyond happy if that happened

Use that leverage to not give up Love.

We gotta give up something lol.

Don't think it can happen without giving up Love. But who knows

I agree. But maybe some dumb NBA team wants a bunch of expiring's or some shit. Never know with some of these GMs lol.

that's for sure--what a worthless pick up he was

Some of these takes are very warm.

    Korver was worthless? Lol.

He had a bad finals, and it wouldn't have mattered anyway.

He bricked a lot of good looks. Game 4 comes to mind.

They also don't sweep Indy without him.
  • friendfromlowry
He didn't show up to the finals like pretty much the rest of the bench. My initial post about him wasn't really serious. I agree with S&L - it's hard to imagine they get Butler/PG without giving up Love in return.

Cleveland is gonna Cleveland this offseason real hard. Losing the GM during the most important hours is a heck of a start, total Browns move

I'd much rather Cleveland than Detroit.

Where the Pistons picking this Thursday?

From the posts during the Finals, I would say he is now a Warriors "fan".

They'll bounce back, they've had one of the best franchises in the NBA here the last 20-30 years

Aldridge now saying that Butler has informed the Cavs(????) that he wants to stay in Chicago rather than get traded to Cleveland.

Why is Butler even talking to the Cavs?

Hate to say it but so far this offseason, LeBron is doing more harm than good for the franchise. They are fine for this year but they aren't going to get anyone that would put them over the hump to agree to come to Cleveland for this season(let alone beyond) without a long term commitment from him. Kyrie wants out if LeBron leaves, which in turn made Butler change his mind about coming here.
  • ernest_t_bass
Good for Kyrie. Make Lebron put his money where his mouth is.

    Disagree with all of this.

If Butler came here, he and Kyrie would make a pretty good duo. If Lebron left, why would Butler/Kyrie leave if the other is still around? Assuming GSW stays intact, what's the point of going out west unless you're joining another super team. Might as well remain in the east.

Also, I think we're exaggerating how much stock PG, Butler, Kyrie, etc put into what Lebron is going to do. As already stated, he's going to be 34 years old and have played 15 seasons. He's not going to be around forever. Maybe not this season or even next, but he's going to slow down and not worth planning a career move around.

At this point, what does everyone think will happen over the next 48 hours with the Cavs -
    A) Everything stays the same
    B) They land another star
    C) They make a/some move/s but nothing as significant as we've discussed.
