I'd pass. When was the last time Gasol has been healthy?Laley23;1876128 wrote:Just had this thought. Memphis is in 10th in West around deadline. Decide to rebuild. Cavs could potentially have Conley/Gasol for the BKN Pick. Would this be preferable to Cousins?
Edit: If Gasol is healthy, I have a hard time believing they will be 10th in the West. -

Both healthy, I still don't see them competing. That conference is too deep.like_that;1876129 wrote:I'd pass. When was the last time Gasol has been healthy?

On the health, he missed 8 games last year and 1 game the year before. I wouldn't say he has had recent health issues. -

First thing that comes up on a Marc Gasol google search is "Grizzlies will sit Marc Gasol for preseason opener as ankle rehab continues" lol.Laley23;1876134 wrote:Both healthy, I still don't see them competing. That conference is too deep.

Come on now. LeBron is sitting cause of "heel" problems or something. If he starts missing chunks of regular season games I'll revise my thoughts on his heath.like_that;1876141 wrote:First thing that comes up on a Marc Gasol google search is "Grizzlies will sit Marc Gasol for preseason opener as ankle rehab continues" lol. -

I'd like to clarify I wasn't using that headline to support my argument. I just thought it was funny that was the first thing that popped up. If both are playing like they are capable of by the trade deadline, that would be a trade I would consider.Laley23;1876161 wrote:Come on now. LeBron is sitting cause of "heel" problems or something. I have a hard time seeing Memphis part away with those two for one pick though. Also, how would salaries match up? -

Not sure, I haven't actually thought about it too much. Just popped into my head as I see Memphis struggling this year and maybe are looking at a rebuild. If that's the case, not sure you want a 33 year old Gasol taking up so much salary. Conley being younger is a bit less likely, but I don't rule anything out in NBA these days. If they are struggling to get just for the right to get swept by GSW this year (and likely next...) why not try and start over??like_that;1876185 wrote: I have a hard time seeing Memphis part away with those two for one pick though. kizer permanenteHas there ever been a shot shump took where you were like... "that's going in"?
Even the shots he makes look like misses coming off his hand.
