  Pats come out and say they're not trading Jimmy G. Quite possibly driving up asking price, but who knows. I'd much rather trade #12 for Garapollo vs. QB in this draft at 12.

  I actually dont think it's trying to drive up the asking price. The asking price regardless was going to be the #1 overall pick and possibly more. You don't give up franchise QBs for 2nd round picks.

  If this happens, Sashi needs to be fired. Hell, I consider this statement grounds for a performance improvement plan at least.

  Also said they're not franchising TP...letting him test out FA. This would be such a Brown's thing to do to low-ball a guy who seemingly wants to be here, and is actually pretty good.

  That would be a disaster. I'm only interested in Myles Garrett and I really don't want to trade the pick unless we get the best trade deal in NFL history.
