Oh? You're saying high upside athletic lineman who limited snaps aren't better than a 27 yr old former first round pick? Christ crimson, really going out on a limb there. Yes, today Zeitler is a better player. But is he $8m a yr a better player? I'd doubt it. I think Drango and Coleman both looked good with a fucking bum (erving) playing next to them last season. I like where they're at and think Drango could play RG and Coleman play RT at a high level.

Which he has proven an inability to do.

I have not been able to collaborate this anywhere. I would say it's probably science fiction.

Fugging dirtbag Broncos. Some of these players (Calais Campbell) have verbally agreed with one team and Denver is trying to swoop in and take them away. Heard they might be trying to do that with Britt too.

I hope they do because Britt is terrible. Not sure why the Browns would overpay for a marginal WR when our QB situation is the worst in NFL history. I'd rather overpay for OL/DL/CB then pay for average WR talent with our QB situation.

I'd take Cousins if he wants out. If you are interested in a quick turn around for the Browns and to accelerate the plan, it's important to get the QB. Cousins would give us a QB that can play football and possibly give us a chance at winning a playoff game.

    Sign him.

Understood but he (Britt) had the same stats, with a shitty QB, just like Pryor. I'm not a Britt fan but his numbers are interchangeable with Pryor's. TBH, I don't GAF what they do until they get that QB. Until they do, they are pissing in the wind.

Yeah but if reports are true, Pryor turned down $12M which is completely ridiculous.

But yes, agree on QB. They could sign Lebron James as WR and they'd still go 2-14 without a solid QB.

I'd call bullshit on that $12M for Pryor, but I guess it's possible.

Yeah the $12m is total bullshit. He was never offered that.

If he was offered that they would've had to write up a whole new contract because he would've pissed all over the paper, with excitement, knowing that someone was dumb enough to offer him that much.

I tried to find a link to it, but I came across something that said that's what he is asking and they reported it by mistake that the browns offered that. But either way he's asking for 12 million a year and that's absolutely retarded.

Mark Kay..With Kenny Britt receiving $17M guaranteed from #Browns, chances of Terrelle Pryor returning are getting slim cleveland.com/browns/index.s…

    Peace out Pryor. Bye Felicia.

The Bengals invested and want to see what they have in Fisher and Obuehli.

However, losing him would not only help Cleveland, but significantly hurt an average Bengals o-line.

Alshon is supposedly going to the Eagles so Chicago is likely a frontrunner for Pryor. Tennessee is likely in the mix too. The question I'd ask is 'are either of those teams willing to throw big money at Pryor?" If Chicago wasn't willing to retain Jeffery, are they going to be willing to spend on Pryor?

BTW....Mary Kay Cabot is THE worst.

Losing Whitworth & Zeitler is probably not going to help the Ginger Rifle sleep well at night.

    Zeitler to Browns official.

Former Bengals G Kevin Zeitler expects to sign with Cleveland, per sources. Big day for Browns O line. Highest paid guard in NFL history.

Well then, wonder what this means for Greco.

Cleveland plans to give Kevin Zeitler a five-year, $60 million deal that includes $31.5 million guaranteed, per source.

Now Browns need to trade #12 for Jimmy G & the O is basically complete.

This screams to me a "win now" mode has been activated in Cleveland.
  • BR1986FB
Unless they decide to draft a RT, they should have a pretty respectable O-Line (JT-Bitonio-Tretter-Zeitler-Drango/Coleman(?). Be nice to see an O-Line that can punch some people in the mouth and consistently RUN the ball. Now get a GD QB !!!

I'd rather trade for Cousins. The #12 pick or the #33 pick might do it.

Did I see that he will make $975,000 this year? Seems reasonable for the 6th lineman who can play any position.

Which is why I've been wanting them to go after someone like Garoppolo versus rolling the dice on one of these rookies. Don't want to see Kessler or "Bob" under center this year and I don't think Hue is going to have the luxury of grooming a rookie QB. Haslam's history has been hair trigger/lack of patience so I'd think it would be "win now."
