Crimson streakWell browns offered Pryor 12 mill a year and he turned it down. Yeah he can definitely go fuck off

Barring a breakdown in negotiations, #Browns are expected to sign veteran WR Kenny Britt later today, source told ESPN.
Ian Rapoport
✔ @RapSheet The #Browns are signing WR Kenny Britt, source said (as @caplannfl reported). 4 years, $32.5M.
-
Azubuike24I actually think Britt is pretty underrated. He's had super shitty QB's his whole career. Then again, if he's choosing Cleveland, he's probably signing up for that again...
-
like_thatThe Browns probably view him as the same type of WR as Britt, and it makes sense. I don't have an emotional investment on Pryor.
-
Benny The JetI'm fine with letting Pryor walk, if he actually turned down 12 mil...that's insane. Britt is a "meh" move...again, feel like they overpaid, but they have to
-
iclfan2Overpaying doesn't mean much with the cap room the Browns have and the fact they are garbage. Britt is decent, and agreed if Pryor turned down $12M a year he's an idiot.
Zeitler would be nice. -

To me, the contract Britt is getting is pretty much telling Pryor what he's worth.....about $8 million/yr. Their numbers almost mimic each others and they are about the same age.iclfan2;1840501 wrote:Overpaying doesn't mean much with the cap room the Browns have and the fact they are garbage. Zeitler is one of the players on my wish list. -

Agree, to a point. Making bad/big free-agent signings can REALLY screw you up in the long run. But, again...I get why they have to pay.iclfan2;1840501 wrote:Overpaying doesn't mean much with the cap room the Browns have and the fact they are garbage. And Zeitler would be big. -
BR1986FBAdam Schefter‏Verified account @ AdamSchefter 5s 5 seconds ago Browns are signing G Joel Bitonio to a monster extension, per source.
Adam Caplan‏Verified account @ caplannfl now 7 seconds ago # Browns very busy today: As @ MikeGarafolo said, team is trying to sign free agent C J.C. Tretter.
Yeah, I know...not everybody's favorite but he's been hitting on his Browns predictions lately...
Incarcerated Bob @incarceratedbob **BREAKING NFL NEWS**
Browns finalized deal with JC Tretter (C) barring any last minute snags
Talks with (OG) Kevin Zietler gaining steam
If they get Zeitler, this will be a pretty decent O-Line with only the RT position needing to be addressed. Now, get the damn QB !!! -
iclfan2Like the Tretter signing. Adding Zeitler too would be niiice. Pryor still out there looking dumb.

Benny The JetI LOVE them going after fixing the line. The draft is weak in OL

Where have you seen that? Last I saw was "near double digits".Crimson streak;1840407 wrote:Well browns offered Pryor 12 mill a year and he turned it down. Yeah he can definitely go fuck off

BR1986FBRosenhaus is starting to look like a dumbass with his demands for Pryor. Torrey Smith just agreed with Philly for $5 million/yr and Robert Woods is supposed to sign for about $8 million/yr. The sweet spot for Pryor should be around $7-8 million/yr. Looks like all of these other WR's are signing elsewhere and TP's options are starting to dwindle.

BR1986FBSounds like the Saints agreed with Ted Ginn & a LB from the Panthers, which might bode well for the Browns adding Zeitler. Saints don't have a ton of cap room.

Crimson streakI love the Britt and tretter signings. Adding zeitler would be huge. Bitonio coming back healthy while adding zeitler and tretter is a major upgrade. The only thing that would make me happier would be going out and getting garrapolo

Commander of Awesomeif we signed Zeitler, I wouldn't cry about it, can never have enough lineman. But it's a lot of money for the line, and I really like Drango/Coleman and want to see them get reps.

Zeitler is 5x the player that drango and Coleman are. Would I be upset if we don't get him, no. But he would be a huge upgrade.Commander of Awesome;1840531 wrote:if we signed Zeitler, I wouldn't cry about it, can never have enough lineman. Crimson streakAlso bitonio's extension is worth about 8.5 a year. Not bad at all if he can stay healthy
