Wouldn't it be nice if the Browns were picking top 3 and the pick wasn't theirs?iclfan2;1871094 wrote:From what I saw on twitter, Desaun really struggles with pressure, and with that crap OL they will have a rough go of it in any game. I think Watson can be good, but hopefully he doesn't put it together this year. Those 2 picks could be huge. -

He did in college as well. Wasn't careful with the football, not accurate, not a great arm, doesn't deal with pressure well, #12 overall pick? Their def was great on Sunday, no doubt about it.BR1986FB;1871107 wrote:I said before the season that the Browns will finish ahead of Cincy in this division. I know COA wasn't high on Baltiwhore, and I hate them too, but I see them finishing second. Their defense seems like they can carry that team. -
gutImagine the morning before the 2004 draft, and someone told you Ben Roethlisberger would become the winning-est QB at FirstEnergy Stadium. I bet you guys would have been pretty excited....

It's such a dumb stat.gut;1871181 wrote:Imagine the morning before the 2004 draft, and someone told you Ben Roethlisberger would become the winning-est QB at FirstEnergy Stadium. I bet you guys would have been pretty excited.... -

Tonight's why I didn't have Vikings as a winnable game. And they're not if they play like this.kizer permanente;1870448 wrote:No they definitely aren't a lock. Bradford's still pretty decent though. And their defense is still good. Line issues are what's hurting them right now. -
kizer permanenteAlso feel important to add... our defense is 100 times better than the saints d though

It's usually folly to try to predict how good teams are based on the prior year, even including whatever you think of their offseason moves. There are some perennially good and bad teams (a lot having to do with QB). But the remaining 2/3 of the league is an up and down guessing game.kizer permanente;1871224 wrote:Tonight's why I didn't have Vikings as a winnable game. And they're not if they play like this. -

Well, I mean, it's kind of the point of a message board to predict what teams will do and have general sports discussion.gut;1871252 wrote:It's usually folly to try to predict how good teams are based on the prior year, even including whatever you think of their offseason moves. BR1986FBI know that power rankings really don't mean much but I'm lmao at Yahoo have Pittsburgh #1 after this past weekend.

They also have the Browns at 31. So the best team in the league needed a blocked punt for a TD to beat the 2nd worst team in the league. Great logic.BR1986FB;1871263 wrote:I know that power rankings really don't mean much but I'm lmao at Yahoo have Pittsburgh #1 after this past weekend. -

Yea, this doesn't make much sense to me. They didn't look like a powerhouse at all on offense, defense looked good but also undisciplined.BR1986FB;1871263 wrote:I know that power rankings really don't mean much but I'm lmao at Yahoo have Pittsburgh #1 after this past weekend. -

It said they got the top spot by "default" but I would've had Dallas, Green Bay, Kansas City and a few others, ahead of them.iclfan2;1871278 wrote:Yea, this doesn't make much sense to me. They didn't look like a powerhouse at all on offense, defense looked good but also undisciplined.
