I would absolutely love Landry on this team. Him and Coleman would complement each other perfect.

Sounds like it's either Cleveland or New England (if they do trade him)

I'm sure he's praying it's the latter. Lol

Oh shit, there are reports that we're talking?

Still, I agree with you here in that we'd probably lose to them.
How bad was it? The media was jerking off to him after his first preseason game.

If Luck is out a considerable amount of time I can see the Texans racking up wins in their division. I don' think their defense will get any worse with JJ watt returning, so therefore they are easily good enough to beat the Browns. Obviously I am rooting for them to have a 0-16 season.

He threw 3 just awful brandon weeden like INTs. Only one was caught though.

Me to wife: Jim Brown told the Browns players to respect the flag and stand for the anthem.

    Wife: Who's Jim Brown?

Since we are on the subject of other rookie QBs, has anyone watched Trubisky since his first game? People were also jerking off to him.

Watching Trubisky right now. Not impressed. Very little awareness.

As he throws a beautiful td as I type that lol

Very glad that Kizer seems to look much more ready than Watson does. Haven't seen any other news about wr. Vitale will be out a couple games which stinks.

I hope Hue Jackson treats Kizer the same way the Bengals (I believe Jay Gruden was OC at the time) treated Dalton during his rookie year. Have the offense predicted on the run, and make it as simple as possible for Kizer.

Edit: No, I am not saying the Browns defense is as good as the Bengals.

Trubisky actually made some really good throws. He had 2 plays in a row with delays of games and wasn't even about to snap the ball. That stuff happens with rookies though.
The fact we got Myles and Kizer though, I'll take that instead.

Trubisky has played well, but the bears are gonna roll into the season with Glennon it sounds like.

It's smart, they shouldn't throw trubisky to the wolves when they at least have a serviceable guy to throw in there.

The Browns dont have that guy.

Not to mention Fox's seat is pretty hot ATM. He needs to win games, and when they don't, he needs to play the "had to play the rookie "card to keep his job.

    This.

Trubisky would be starting for cleveland too.

Was just gonna skip this, then got on twitter and the first two tweets were from national media guys praising trubisky's awareness. Lol

That was from his 2 consecutive delay of games then sack. Then as I type it he threw a 45 yard td strike that couldn't have been better thrown.

Well maybe next time you will wait more than 3 plays before making up your mind on someone.

I didn't make my mind up. I said I was watching him right now and I wasn't impressed. I didn't say he's a bust and will be out of the league soon. I promptly gave him credit when it was due. The second someone pays me for my evaluations I'll be sure to be more cautious lol.

You said "very little awareness" after watching 3 plays.

    Laughable

2 consecutive delay of games and taking a sack in 3 plays is the definition of lack of awareness.

    Yeah definitely.

I was watching the pats game Thursday and saw Brady took a sack. Really hope he isn't losing his awareness!
  • kizer permanente
Did he let the clock run out on the two plays before ? I'd be concerned about Tom then too.
  • SportsAndLady
    You're an idiot.
