Agree with all that. He's definitely got some promise. But I think we are going to see some shaky games out of him this year.kizer permanente;1868843 wrote:Yeah he didn't set the world on fire. He made some good throws though. Made some bad ones too. Locked down on some receivers too often. You're going to get that with a 21 year old.
This season will show if he's the future or not. I will say he's shown an arm and cerebralness that the Browns haven't had since the return. -

Calm down little guy.kizer permanente;1868841 wrote:Also. There's 11 winnable games on this schedule. Don't be surprised if they get more than 4.
Also, I'm just calling it now that you're thavoice. -
kizer permanenteOh definitely. This kid still has a lot to work on. He's not going to win 10-11 games this year. How fast he progresses though, 6-7 isn't out of the question. 3-4 isn't either though. Training camp tends to show he makes strides quickly. Either way they'll be a lot more enjoyable to watch this year. Just by having a QB who CAN move the offense.

I'm not saying they're winning 11 games. But there are 11 winnable games on this schedule. Look through it if you care to and disagree with me?like_that;1868845 wrote:Calm down little guy.

I have looked at the schedule. You don't think those teams (and their fans) look at the schedule and think they have a win vs the Browns? I already have a bet with my friend that they don't win 4. If they win more than 3 games, I hope they overachieve and give Browns fans something to be excited about for the future.kizer permanente;1868847 wrote:I'm not saying they're winning 11 games. Yeah. And most teams have no idea how much better the Browns line, Defense, and, yes, QB is this year. Again. I'm not saying they win 11 games. But there's 11 games they could win.like_that;1868848 wrote:I have looked at the schedule. You don't think those teams (and their fans) look at the schedule and think they have a win vs the Browns? kizer permanenteShould have said most teams *fans.
I have no doubt the teams themselves know The Browns are better. -

Who are the 11 winnable games? I see Jets, Chargers, Bears, and the Colts if Luck is out. The rest of the games would be a pleasant surprise if they won.kizer permanente;1868850 wrote:Yeah. Outside of the Steelers, the rest of the AFC North is winnable. That's 4. Jets are horrible, that's 5. Jags are worse than Cleveland, that's 6. Bears are terrible, that's 7. Lions and Texans are both winnable, 8,9. Chargers are old and not that good, 10. And a Luckless colts are beatable. 11like_that;1868849 wrote:Also, I don't see 11 winnable games at all. -

I forgot about the Jags, so I will add them to my list, but LOL at the following:kizer permanente;1868854 wrote:Outside of the Steelers, the rest of the AFC North is winnable. That's 4. Lions- they are a playoff team and potentially a playoff team this year. They haven't lost much from last season.
Texans - They have made the playoffs two years in a row and they had the best defense in the NFL last year WITHOUT JJ.
AFCN - This goes into the "pleasant" surprise category and maybe they steal a win due to division familiarity, but they are nowhere close to any team in the AFCN right now.
I feel like some of you guys have forgotten that it took a missed FG (in the kicker's range if I am not mistaken) for the Browns to avoid 0-16 last year. They lost to the Steelers backup squad for fucks sake. The patch up job on the O-line and the rookies aren't all of a sudden giving the Browns 11 winnable games. -

I'd only add the jags to your list, for sure. I wouldn't be surprised to see a split with the Ravens and Bengals. So there's where I get my 6-7like_that;1868853 wrote:Who are the 11 winnable games? SportsAndLadyHaha the Texans have the best defense in the NFL, lol @ thinking we'd score 6 pts agains them let alone win that game.

Texans make playoffs because their division is the worst in the league. They're not as good as you think. Their qb play is horrible also. It makes it winnable.like_that;1868855 wrote:I forgot about the Jags, so I will add them to my list, but LOL at the following:

Lions were a playoff team that were outscored last year. Again... they're not great. Will the browns beat either? Probably not. But they're not unwinnable games. -
SportsAndLadyPlus all you're doing kizer is mentioning bad teams on the schedule. You're forgetting the browns are worse than them. Upsets happen sure, but just because the game is "winnable" doesn't mean we are going to win. We're going to be pretty bad, even games that we can win, we'll be 4 point underdogs going into it.
4 wins, MAX. -

Agreed. They have a great defense with a pathetic offense coupled with a terrible division. They're not unbeatable.SportsAndLady;1868862 wrote:Haha the Texans have the best defense in the NFL, lol @ thinking we'd score 6 pts agains them let alone win that game. -

Now you're saying that we think they're unbeatable? Come on man..kizer permanente;1868865 wrote:Agreed. They have a great defense with a pathetic offense coupled with a terrible division. They're not unbeatable. -

Unbeatable for the browns. Which makes it winnable for browns.SportsAndLady;1868866 wrote:Now you're saying that we think they're unbeatable? Come on man.. -

Well then the Browns have 16 winnable games.kizer permanente;1868867 wrote:Unbeatable for the browns. Which makes it winnable for browns.
What the fuck are we even arguing? -
kizer permanenteAnd, again, I don't have either team in my 6-7 wins. Just that they are winnable games for the Browns. 6-7 is the tops I think we'd see for the Browns this year. 6-7 wouldn't surprise me if it happens. 3-4 wouldn't surprise me either. It all depends how Kizer progresses.

kizer permanente
Isn't that the point of a discussion board? Sure 16 are technically winnable. 11 are just more likely.SportsAndLady;1868869 wrote:Well then the Browns have 16 winnable games.

FIFY. I think they're going to be worse this yr. Anyone catch Watson's performance last night? YIKES. No matter how good a defense is, they can wear down (see browns) if on the field too much.

Still, I agree with you here in that we'd probably lose to them. -
Commander of AwesomeTwitter is saying Jarvis Landry is on the block, MAKE IT HAPPEN.

That'd be real nice.Commander of Awesome;1868879 wrote:Twitter is saying Jarvis Landry is on the block, MAKE IT HAPPEN. -
kizer permanenteLandry and a Josh Gordon return would go a long way for this team. Josh should start beating women instead so he can get back on the field.
