I'm willing to take any bets on the validity of Jordan Mcrae in the NBA.SportsAndLady;1812846 wrote:Sleeper is basically Donald trump

Does anyone want to put $1,000 on him being an all-star before his career ends? Anyone?
No? LOL -
Heretic
So, we're going from someone thinking he might evolve into a contributor next year TO comparing/contrasting him to Delly (aka: a player no where near All-Star caliber) TO now betting on if he'll be an all-star player.sleeper;1813027 wrote:I'm willing to take any bets on the validity of Jordan Mcrae in the NBA.

Perfect example of sleeper inventing arguments with himself. Who said anything about Mcrae being an all star?sleeper;1813027 wrote:I'm willing to take any bets on the validity of Jordan Mcrae in the NBA.

Makes it easy to say you're "right" when you move the goalposts so far that no one has any idea what you're arguing any more.like_that;1813030 wrote:Perfect example of sleeper inventing arguments with himself. Who said anything about Mcrae being an all star? -

Literally this all started, because somebody said they would like to see what Mcrae could do off the bench with the 2nd unit (possibly playing some PG). Then sleeper went all hot take mode and said he and felder are complete trash d-leaguers.Heretic;1813031 wrote:Makes it easy to say you're "right" when you move the goalposts so far that no one has any idea what you're arguing any more. -

Anyone want to bet that Jordan Mcrae will earn more in career earnings than Delly? I'll take the other side of that bet.
The reality is, Mcrae is a D-league talent who's only in the NBA because the Cavs are cap constrained and need bodies to fill out the roster. I've never seen so much hype for a D-league talent because he played well in the summer league. There are thousands of players that had a good summer league and are now selling used cars in Missouri. Reality; it's a bitch! -

Because they are. Jury is still out on Felder but he probably won't be anything relevant.like_that;1813032 wrote:Literally this all started, because somebody said they would like to see what Mcrae could do off the bench with the 2nd unit (possibly playing some PG). Mcrae? No chance. Dude is trash. -

These are the two comments that started this "argument:.Commander of Awesome;1812640 wrote:There it is, he'll be our next Delly but better. Thanks Sleeper!
#1) We know what Mcrae can do; light up the summer league. He's a bench player and real minutes won't change anything. His ceiling is here and its barely NBA talent.
#2) Delly is quite literally 10x the player Mcrae is. Saying Mcrae is better than Delly is an absolute joke to anyone who knows the slimmest about basketball.

sportswizuhrdHarden 26.5M
Mike Conley 26.5
DeMar DeRozan 26.5
Harrison Barnes 22.1
Parsons 22.1
D Rose 21.3
Brook Lopez 21.1
Ryan Anderson 18.7
Allen Crabbe 18.5
Then we have...
Kawhi 17.6
Kyrie 17.6
Steph 12.1
Give me Allen Crabbe and Brook Lopez over Kyrie, Kawhi and Curry! James Harden is top 7!

Benny The JetSo today's latest is that Lue wants KG to join the coaching staff...KG's wife supposedly is behind it and wants him to, he's undecided. I liked KG when he first came in the league...but ever since Boston and his pseudo-tough guy act where he just yells and acts like an A-Hole...haven't been a fan. Who knows...maybe somehow he'd be a good coach, but doubt it.

GOONx19Would be a valuable recruiter, at least.

Ironman92KG would be a no risk. He could be a good asset on the bench. Would definitely welcome him.

SonofanumpWhat is the hold up on JR Smith?
-
Benny The Jet
Just read he turned down a 10-11 mil/year offer. Lebron has chimed in that he's "sick of this ..... again" Meaning...he'll put the pressure on front office to get this done ASAP now, similar to Tristan last yearSonofanump;1813282 wrote:What is the hold up on JR Smith? -

We need JR. Give him the option of 2 year $30M deal or 3 year $38M deal and call it a day.Benny The Jet;1813284 wrote:Just read he turned down a 10-11 mil/year offer. Good pickup. Certainly better to have this guy than the D-league contingent(Mcrae, Felder) get any minutes this year.Cavaliers announce they’ve signed veteran PG Toney Douglas, last with the Pelicans, and waived F/C Eric Moreland.
