I already told you that the Cowboys have offered a number 2 for Manziel...and my fear is that Jimmy will settle for their number 1 and number 4. Jimmy is too thin skinned when it comes to the Cleveland media that want to run JJF out of town. and very well placate the masses.
1.) Link Verfying absurd claim, or will be removed from thread.
2.) You think a 2nd round pick, is more valuable than a 1st, and a 4th? GTFO. -

1) I like my idea better but fair; and
2) can we apply that "rule" to every post someone makes an absurd claim, can't back it up, and refuses to withdraw the claim? I call that the "Footwedge special" -
HitsRusI'm going to the game Sunday and I hope JFF lights it up.

I don't think anyone here is rooting for him to crap the bed. I just think there's not a whole lot of faith in his ability.HitsRus;1768761 wrote:I'm going to the game Sunday and I hope JFF lights it up. -

I actually like this idea too. Its one thing to say you've heard something and state where. But to continue to throw shit out as fact, and when you've been called out for it multiple times, either ignore or double down is totally differentlhslep134;1768758 wrote:

This is Manziel's first year of actually playing. Compare Manziel's 88.4 QB rating versus the "franchise quarterbacks..and then tell me who and who can't play. Umkay?BR1986FB;1768745 wrote:Personally, I wouldn't give a shit if Manziel partied every night IF he performed, lights out, on the field but he DOESN'T. Thinks he can fly by the seat of his pants, without putting in the work, and just show up. He's not THAT good.
FW keeps bringing up Joe Namath, Mantle, etc. The difference between them and JFF is that they were impact players who performed. Namath helped change the game and was a star right out of the gate. His numbers pail by today's comparisons but he was pretty damn solid for a rookie in 1965.
Carr...76.6
Bridgewater...65.2
Winston....85.6
only Mariota has better first year numbers.
And....as I pointed out above, Manziel has done it without a line, without a running game...AND he did it playing 3 playoff teams on the road. Not to mention the 3 touchdown passes dropped in the Steeler game and the one dropped touchdown pass in the Bengal game. Catch those balls and where would his rating be?
I get it. You don't think he can play. You are wrong. Move along. You and your contingency can continue your crusade of chasing the franchise quarterback out of town. -

He's not that great at numbers.Al Bundy;1768750 wrote:Do you even understand that a number 1 and number 4 is a lot more value than a number 2? I'd trade anyone on our roster, except JT, for the Cowboys' 1 and 4 picks.
I'm not sure I'd even exclude Thomas. If by some miracle, they get someone in charge who can build a championship team in three years, JT would be 34. -

You don't know shit Shemp. I happened to have inside info..that I wouldn't share in person with anyone, and I certainly will not share on this sorry ass site. LOL. I will give you this teaser ..I am very close with someone who played on the Browns in the 80's who is very close to Ozzie Newsome...um...the GM ofg the Ravens. Don't give a shit whether you believe me or not.lhslep134;1768748 wrote:Link or it didn't happen. And if it didn't happen, and you continue to assert that it did, there will be consequences. This numbers are from this year (http://www.pro-football-reference.com/years/2015/passing.htm)
Marcus Mariota 66.34
Jameis Winston 61.88
Teddy Bridgewater 60.83
Derek Carr 60.31
Johnny Manziel 54.2

what do you have to say about Manziel being so far behind his peers in QBR?Footwedge;1764416 wrote:The QBR Rating one would argue is more comprehensive than the standard NFL QB Rating. -

There you go HighRoller, seems like he's earned that thread ban. We should look at the other Browns threads to see where he posted that and ban him from those too.Footwedge;1768782 wrote:I happened to have inside info..that I wouldn't share in person with anyone, and I certainly will not share on this sorry ass site. His nonsense regarding the non-existent trade offer has gone on long enough. -

My God you are dense. Rinse, wash and repeat. shall we? Jones has verbally put on the table that he would trade his number 2 for Johnny during the trade season. Jimmy then went ROTFLHAO. My fear is that Jimmy will placate the collective media and jettison Johnny for the Cowboys #1 and #4.Al Bundy;1768750 wrote:Do you even understand that a number 1 and number 4 is a lot more value than a number 2? If you can't follow the bouncing ball then that is yet another one of your laundry list of problems. -

The GM from "A" has no idea whatsoever what team "B" did or did not offer team "C" for any player. Doesn't work that way. You got caught in a lie and are now stacking one lie on top of the next.Footwedge;1768782 wrote:You don't know shit Shemp. This part could be true. Jimmy would be laughing if any team was stupid enough to give up a second round pick for Johnny.Footwedge;1768786 wrote: Jimmy then went ROTFLHAO. -

I didn't ask you how you made up a non-existent fact. I asked you to provide a link. Sorry your brain is too dull to comprehend the distinction. -

LOL. Go watch the movie draft day..and get back to me. Yeah....nobody talks about things. LMAO. Again, since it's not public info, then yes, it's not official. I see your parents raised you to be a liar and to be terrible at math, statistics, and reading comprehension. Even if I was acting like a two year old, that would still be an improvement over whatever age you consider yourself to be acting.Footwedge;1768793 wrote:Like a fuggin 2 year child begging the mods to ban me. Did they teach you how to read in law school?? LOL. If you actually read what I wrote I said that this ai actually Manziel's first year of playing. 5 quarters last year is irrelevant and I made that very clear up above.lhslep134;1768792 wrote:I'd like an answer to this -

Those numbers are from this year. I know math is hard for you, but try and keep up. If you need proof, here: http://www.pro-football-reference.com/years/2015/passing.htm
So what response do you have to Manziel being far behind his peers in your pet stat, QBR, this year? -
Footwedge
Of course draft day was just a movie. But if you think for one minute that shit doesn't go down then you are a gullible buffoon. People check on character, people get texts from players, GM's play hard ball to get deals done. Is the drama as high as the movie? No. but the pressures, timelines and sub plots ALL HAPPEN.SportsAndLady;1768794 wrote:You realize draft day is just a movie right?
