Incomplete pass. Johnny doesn't have it today.

    Isn't FW there today?

This run game is freaking bullshit.

    Johnny deserves better.

    What a stud.

That has to be a record. How many blocked FGs have the browns given up?

Shelton and Erving were right in the middle of it again.

How can Jimmy even dream of bringing Ray back.

    Pettine deserves a public lashing.

Browns will squeak out a win against one of the worst teams in the NFL, and we'll have to spend a week listening to FW talk about him being right and Johnny proved he's the savior in Cleveland.

The FW victory lap will be the likes of which we have never seen.

I am about to invest in Kleenex because FW has to be going through dozens of boxes right now.

Pretty hard to root against Phil Dawson.

The 49ers are terrible. Manziel looks ok, that sack and the terrible interception were bad.

First one hundred yard rusher since game 4 of last year.

    [h=1]GROUND & POUND SHOW FOR CLEVELAND[/h]
After Isaiah Crowell's second rushing score, he has 140 rushing yards. That's the most by a Browns player in a game since Peyton Hillis on Nov. 7, 2010 vs. the Patriots. Follow live

    Johnny makes the Browns watchable.
  • BRF
Feels good to finally end that awful losing streak.
  • SportsAndLady
Well, a win's a win. Happy to see it. Even though I'd prefer to just lose out lol
  • IggyPride00
Pettine should be fired this second.

He does not deserve being able to bask in a Johnny led win.

Good pick with the Browns defense

Anyone opposed to making this our thread for the rest of the season/offseason?

Somewhat ironically, only JFF can save Pettine his job. I'm not quite ready to annoint Johnny Football next year's QB, if he plays like this the next 3 games, I think we can turn our attention to drafting other needs.

I've actually been pretty impressed by Johnny this year with his on the field play. I think he can succeed here. I wouldn't be opposed to not drafting a qb as long as he can keep his nose clean and continues to put in the work. Next week will be a huge test for him going against that Seattle defense.

If anything Johnny continuing to play well I think cements that he should be fired because it was only his stubbornness this year that stood between Johnny and the field. After that Tennessee game he should have been the new starter from there on out.

I would feel worlds better making a decision on him if we had seen him all season instead of only sporadically like we have.

Brady Quinn got 21 starts. Weeden 23.

Johnny has had 6, and his play has improved seemingly with every start for the most part.

If Pettine had started Johnny all year and the team struggled at least he could have leaned on the excuse he was trying to develop the team's young QB. Instead, he fussed around with McCown as much as he could and instead we were a bad team that doesn't have a firm grasp on Johnny.

    That is a fireable offense.

This is the key. I thought the Browns were easily the worst team in the NFL until I saw the Niners today. I want to see what he does against some legit teams, instead of beating up on the Sisters of the Poor, before crowning him.
