I'd still rather have Love, and the lineup we have now.

    Lol that's just silly man.

Love is overpaid and padded stats on a bad team. Not sure how you can watch the Cavs and think he deserves anywhere near a max deal.

Not going to overreact to this game especially when GS is one injury away from missing the Finals and the Spurs could potentially beat them at full strength anyways.

It obviously sucks we looked so shitty on national TV but I seriously DGAF about a regular season game with this team.

    I can't see how.

We don't trade Wiggins for Love, were still severely over the cap, have no Shump or Smith and no PF.

Sure Wiggins can score the ball, but he's maybe the worst defender in the NBA per the advanced stats. And is falling exactly to what Sleeper is accusing Love of, empty stats on a bad team.

As I said. I'd rather have Love/Shump/Smith than Wiggins.

Cavs are over the cap with or without Love, so bringing that up means absolutely dick.

Wiggins is a worse version of James Harden who you detest, and is doing exactly what you accused Love doing, padding stats on a bad team.

As for the rest of the team, see above post. If Cavs still had Wiggins, team wouldn't be near as deep, and probably worse off.

Pretty much my thoughts as well. A win, or even a close loss would've been nice, but regular season means nothing at this point, Cavs will coast to the number 1 seed in the east and should sleepwalk to the ECF.

wow, I didn't realize the gap was that wide...the Cav's reminded me of the Buckeyes on Saturday...ugly

As a rule, home blowouts are bad, and exceedingly rare for championship-level teams. It's an especially poor look when the blown-out team had every reason to be motivated - ESPN's Ethan Sherwood Strauss.

Wouldn't say the loss last night was completely irrelevant.

I agree with this. You'd hope the team would at least show up, especially after Curry's "champagne" comments before the game. No heart, no guts last night. Very disappointing. Playoff basketball will be different but Chris Webber's comments were spot on when he said "the Warriors look like the team who lost in the Finals" (referring to how hungry they looked).

Wiggins brings more on the defensive end than Love.

This. Love is so awful on defense when he's going up against a decent big man.

Anyone have a link to the LBJ commercial?

You're delusional. If the Cavs never shipped off Wiggins for the waste of talent that Love is, the Cavs would have substantially more financially flexibility as well a player who is not only better but younger.

Love sucks. The good news for the delusional Cavs fan who actually thinks Love is a good player is that his contract is so bad that there's no way any team would trade for him.

The Cavs need to make a roster change at this point. The roster isn't as deep as you think it is.

BTW, no doubt AV is traded soon. He won't be on the team next year anyway.

He's hardly on the team now.

Wiggins is rated as the 4th worst defender in the NBA, and is SG, comparing him and love is apples to oranges.

Love is not great on defense, I definitely agree, but statically he's far better than Wiggins has been this season.

1.) Cavs are over the cap with or without Love, 0 roster flexibility either way.
2.) If Love was a FA there would be a line of teams willing to give him the same contract he has right now, this past off-season proves that.
3.) Cavs do need to bring in another PF, James Jones can't play real minutes for this team.
4.) Team is deeper now with Love, than it would be with Wiggins which is my point.

This needs to happen, but don't see anyone willing to give anything of value.

I think our only chance to get rid of him is to to trade him for an albatross contract with equal value and more years which honestly might be more preferable depending on the quality of the player involved. The Cavs are financially handicapped for the next 4 years minimum and our flexibility only gets worse as time goes on and we lose assets.

The good news is we still have some assets that can give us some roster movement. I'm not entirely sure what we need though. The team on paper is really good but they haven't really played as well as you'd think. Irving still looks average and we know he can be more. Maybe that will change as the season progresses.

He's junk. He's actually the worst contract on the team and that's with a nod toward Love and TT.
