2015-2016 Cleveland Cavaliers World Champions!

TT let Williams by him to his strong side too easily....no LeBron shouldn't have switched but he has to do better than that.

How the fuck do they not give Lebron the and 1???? No way can you contact that hard and no call while driving to the rim.

Harden would've gotten 4 free throw shots for that

    Shump!

    WTH Blatt? Nice inbounds play?

    This game does deserve overtime

Continuing to prove you've never watched basketball unless it served to passive-aggressively troll a Cavs thread.

Big guys all played great when it mattered most. LeBron just the best player in the world.

Shumps defense was outstanding. Excellent win and about the best watch for me on the Cavs in a good while

Only able to catch the 2nd half of the 4th and OT, but damn. That was a fun watch. Shump is a stud and KI was cold as ice.

Blatt is beginning to find lineups that he really likes and also work well together. And figuring out how they will end games. Biggest thing they still have to improve on is pick and roll defense late in games. Too often they switch when they don't need too.

Mo Williams isn't going to see minutes. As much as I dislike delly, his defense is WAY better than Mo's and delly has been making a ton of open 3's.

I think Mo will play quite a bit. Through out the course of a game we still have some times when we don't have anyone on the floor who can create their own shots. I can see a lineup of the following, getting some decent minutes down the stretch, if Mo is healthy anyway.

    Mo
    Delly
    Shump
    RJ/JJ//Andy
    Mozgov

I like this. I've heard some grumblings about Varejao not getting any playing time but I think Blatt is playing this smart. I heard a stat yesterday that AV has only played 31 games ONCE in the last 5 seasons (not sure if accurate, didn't look it up). At some point, he could be very useful down the stretch. I won't say "can't" but it's probably pretty hard for him to get injured on the bench. If he gets 5-8 minutes in the playoffs, that should help them.

Another nice thing I've noticed is that that I don't think there's really another team in the league that has all of the options at crunch time as the Cavs. Obviously, there's KI & Lebron but if one of them wants to penetrate & dish, there are probably going to be open looks for Love & JR. Not many teams can say that. San Antonio has Leonard and ? Golden State has Curry and Thompson (maybe, Green may be a better option). Chicago has Butler and ? Teams can focus on Irving & LBJ but there's a decent chance they could get burnt by the 3rd or 4th option. Nice problem to have.

Happy though, camera went to Cavs bench several times the last 8-10 min of game and everyone was into it and usually the most outgoing was AV.

SA has Leonard and Alrdridge. Parker and Duncan as 3/4. GS has Curry/Thompson and yes, Green. Not maybe, a guy who is probably 4th at worst in MVP voting is not a maybe in crunch time lol.

Cavs showed that depth last night against the Mavs in OT with their defensive and offensive substitutions. Shump is a great guy to bring out for defensive situations.
  • Lovejoy1984
I still make the Love for Wiggins trade, every single time.

Without making that trade we likely do not have Shump and JR. Which is why I hate articles like that. It's simply not a 1 for 1 deal. Without acquiring Love, our depth at PF would be non-existent, especially considering the fact that LBJ had stated over and over again he doesn't want to play PF.

Not that tonight's regular season game matters but I have a feeling this is the early preview of the NBA Finals.
  • SportsAndLady
How did they call off that dunk by Lebron? it's the NBA lol
  • like_that
Very fast paced game so far. Both teams are in playoff mode.
  • SportsAndLady
    That was slick by Kyrie
  • GOONx19
    Kyrie is so good.
  • Commander of Awesome
    Refs letting them play tonight.
  • Ironman92
This isn't helping Mozgov get 4th qtr minutes
  • Ironman92
My God what a terrible 2 min by Mozgov
  • Lovejoy1984
Mozgov has given up like 9 points in 3 minutes.
