Definitely a bitch to play both west coast conferences for travel alone. Let alone those are two of the best conferences. Yikes.

Although the NFL changes so much, who knows if teams like San diego Kansas City and Arizona will be any good next year.
It wasn't officially announced, but the west is next in line. Despite azu hating on them, I fully expect Arizona to bounce back if Carson Palmer is playing. Great example of a team who can win it all with just average QB play. Surprisingly the "easiest" team in that division might be the niners, but they will return their two best defensive players.

And this is why I said I think they will take a step back next year. I knew they played both the AFC/NFC West so I knew it would be tough. Didn't know JAX/Jets were on the schedule though.

Teams obviously fluctuate (up/down) from year to year but with the Browns QB situation so up in the air, I'm not all that confident they will repeat 7 wins.

I'm just hoping this isn't the typical Browns "one decent year, followed by a bad year, fire the coach, rinse, repeat" type of deal.

Now that Rex Ryan is fired. Thoughts on him maybe coming to be our d coordinator? Honestly I would love it if he did.

I think he could get one of the other head coaching jobs if that's what he still wants to do.

Arizona probably won't make the playoffs next year.

Lol Rex Ryan isn't being anybody's defensive coordinator. It's a head coaching gig or tv. What does he gain from being a DC again?

I'm close to jumping on the bring me jay cutler train.

He's proven to not be a leader, just a bitch boy diva pos.

Also Rex Ryan isn't going to be our or anyone's DC.

He's an upgrade over Hoyer and Manziel. Bradford wouldn't be bad but he's still under contract. I want nothing to do with jake locker, there is nobody in this draft that we can get our hands on that can be a starter day one. I'm not ready to throw next year away already.

It's been reported that Cutler's lineman didn't want to block for him anymore. That's a major issue, and a direct result of his polarizing diva attitude. The talent upgrade would be tremendous with him, but I don't want anymore locker room problems.

That dude is a cancer. No way do you want that guy on your team. He was awful when he had Marshall and Jeffery to throw to, along with Forte. He'd be worse here.

I also doubt we see 3 teams with 10+ wins in our division. I'm not convinced any of those teams make the playoffs in any nfc division (excluding the south).

If Hoyer is going to be using his 11-6 or whatever the hell his record as a starter is to try and get good money he can GFH. If We can get him for a reasonable price id be fine with this strategy.

Cutler's a bitchboy. I've been saying it for a few years and most people on here have laughed at it. Want him nowhere near the locker room.

You guys dont want Cutler. He seems like he has phoned his career in. By the comments we read from the source (bears OC) that he doesnt audible out enough, and the fact that his RB is the leading receiver almost tells me that Cutler just phoned it in, and if the first guy wasnt open he just swung it out to the RB, but I didnt watch them enough to really guage but yeah, you dont want him or his contract.

Seems like the browns do alot of the reverse-out play action passes each game. Those can be good on occasion, especially on a run heavy down-distance, but it also takes the QB eyes off the defense for too long. Started to see more teams later in the season send a DE/OLB wide and be there to harass the QB very quickly. I think there is a time and place for it, but they ran it too often which is tough for inexperienced QB's.

Kudos on suspending guys for the game. Kudos for the ownership to stay Farmer and Pettine will be back. Kudos for the coaches to say that no matter where you are drafted they wont put up wiht that shit.
Kudos for that coaching staff in getting to 7 wins with a team with an inexperienced QB, losing your fantastic center, not having one of the best WR's in the game basically all season. The browns def did not phone it is.

This franchise is better off today than it was the day after last season.

Bradford would be very interesting though

Believe he has a 16 million dollar cap hit for 2015...and coming off his second ACL injury.

Not something I would really want...

He's clearly more physically gifted. That doesn't make him an upgrade.

He may be getting cut, so that wouldn't really matter

    True.

I wouldnt bring him in thinking he could be 'the' guy. The savior of the browns franchise wont be a QB who is coming off of a second ACL injury.
  • shook_17
If Bradford gets cut he's my first choice. But obviously his health is a huge concern. Get him draft Hundley or maybe petty (heard his name thrown around) and fuck Manziel.

EDIT: or Nick Foles some reason he's fell out of favor in Philly. No idea why. It seems like there could be some intriguing options.

I remember an article saying titans were doing their homework on Cutler. So if they took Cutler via trade would they be open to trading the 2nd overall pick? Just tossing out ideas. Obviously our QB isn't on our roster. Manziel fooled me, thought he would take this serious and take control but he dooped me. So he can get fucked. Dudes on the NFL amd wasting his opportunity
  • SportsAndLady
Am I the only one not ready to give up on manziel yet? It was 1.5 games I say we let him have next year to see what he can do and go from there.
