Commander of AwesomeI hate any mocks involving trades. They're just throwing shit up against a wall. I love Shelton though, don't want a WR in the 1st. It's clear this guy is an osu homer which I can relate to.
I completely disagree with his assessment of PT though. Best suited to play de? Lolwut? Fuck no, he's best at nt in a 4-3 then tackle in a 3-4. -

They are pretty pointless anyways, but even more abstract when they start adding in trades and shit. I rarely look at the mock drafts as I really dont put much stock into them one bit. All speculation and just never cared for them! -

If we happen to go wr in the first round I really want Parker. He's going to be a stud. Imo the best wr in this draftCommander of Awesome;1693262 wrote:I hate any mocks involving trades. BR1986FBHonestly, mocks are just something to talk about. I don't hold a lot of stock in them, with changing variables, but they do drum up conversation on posters' thoughts on particular players.
-
MulvaI'm a DGB guy, but not sure another receiver with off field issues is what we really need.

Yeah, I know. Many take them way too seriously and are constantly checking out the new ones.BR1986FB;1693292 wrote:Honestly, mocks are just something to talk about. The browns def need WR help, no doubt about that. Not sure what they are going to do with their QB situation. Nothing really got resolved this season whatsoever. Do they stick with Hoyer who was winning but the offense really become derailed when the center got injured. He won without one of the top WR's in the game.
Not likely to turn it over the Manzel right now. -

WR is definitely a need but QB is still the biggest need/question mark for them. Until they get this fixed, they are going nowhere. I've recently heard Mark Sanchez' name brought up as a possibility. I'm not a fan but he's better than anything on this roster, which isn't saying much. In the right system (run first/play strong defense....which is the Pettine model) he has been effective.thavoice;1693299 wrote:Yeah, I know. Hey have have been playing to the strengths in cleveland, running the ball with heavy play action, but all in all i wasnt impressed with how he called games. Got to catch quite a few browns games this year when the steelers played at a different time. DIdnt see much imagination and not putting guys in good matchup situations.

I didn't think he was the "end all, be all" but considering what he had to work with......he got as much "blood" out of the Hoyer "turnip' as he could. Hoyer regressed significantly when Mack went down but Shanahan put Hoyer in good positions up until that point. Once the running game was gone (Mack injury), Hoyer was pretty much done. You're not going to win with that guys arm.thavoice;1693331 wrote:Hey have have been playing to the strengths in cleveland, running the ball with heavy play action, but all in all i wasnt impressed with how he called games. Isn't he supposed to be more messed up than Gordon?Mulva;1693298 wrote:I'm a DGB guy, but not sure another receiver with off field issues is what we really need. -
thavoiceI could see Mike Wallace on the trading block with the report, which he disputes, that he asked to not play anymore in week 17 for the Phins. Many thought the steelers receiving corp would suffer when he left, but in reality he is a one trick pony on his routes.......GO DEEP!

thavoiceCould Charlie Weis be their savior if Shananananahan leaves....

I am of the opinion that Hoyer is in the 25-45 range for QBs. Very end of the starters, upper half of the backups. I don't know why you would not bring him back to camp as the backup to whatever is being done. He is a smart game manager with limited capabilities.BR1986FB;1693337 wrote:I didn't think he was the "end all, be all" but considering what he had to work with......he got as much "blood" out of the Hoyer "turnip' as he could. Ironman92Is Coates (Auburn) available to go to the draft? I don't know where he rated but I think he'll be a pretty successful WR on Sundays

ohiobucks1DGB has my initials so lets get him

Pick6Also, what exactly are Beckham's "off the field" issues.
-
Ironman92If Coates falls to 2nd rd I'd snatch him. Maybe a slightly unpredicted low 40 or some combine measurement

had like 5 incidents in college. Wikipedia lists 3 of them...
Legal issues
Late on the night of October 3, 2012 Green-Beckham and two other freshman teammates, linebacker Torey Boozer and receiver Levi Copelin, were arrested on marijuana charges by the University of Missouri police department after the three were found in possession of 35 grams (1.2 oz) or less of marijuana.[24] Green-Beckham and the others were parked in a vehicle south of Memorial Stadium in Columbia at the time of their arrest. Two other unnamed individuals—also Mizzou players—were in the vehicle as well, but were released after police determined they were not involved in the drug possession.[24] After being processed at the campus police station Green-Beckham, Boozer, and Copelin were released on signature summons.[25] In response to the arrest a spokesperson for the MU athletic department said that all five players would be suspended from the next game, October 6 against Vanderbilt. Other disciplinary action may also be taken by the team[24] and handled internally with no additional public comment on the issue.[25] The case was resolved on October 16, 2012 when Green-Beckham entered a guilty plea to a reduced charge of trespassing in Columbia, Missouri Municipal Court. He was fined $200 plus court costs.[26]
On January 10, 2014, Green-Beckham was again arrested on a marijuana charge.[27] Officials with the Springfield, Missouri police department confirmed the Mizzou star was arrested on suspicion of drug activity and booked into the Greene County, Missouri jail in the early morning hours of January 11. Police found a pound of marijuana in the car he was riding in.[27] According to the Springfield News-Leader, Green-Beckham was originally arrested for possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute following a traffic stop but was later released without charges, pending further investigation.[28] Authorities, citing an ongoing investigation, declined to provide further information on the incident.
Dismissal
On Friday, April 11, 2014, Dorial Green-Beckham was dismissed from the University of Missouri football team. His dismissal followed his prior drug-related problems and an incident in which he allegedly forced open an apartment door and pushed an 18-year-old woman down several stairs. Green-Beckham was not charged in the incident, with police citing a lack of cooperation from the alleged victim. Head coach Gary Pinkel said in a prepared statement, "This decision was made with the best interests of all involved in mind. Dorial's priority going forward needs to be focusing on getting the help he needs. As we have all along, we will continue to do everything we can to assist Dorial and his family. We care deeply about Dorial and his well-being, but hopefully he can benefit from a fresh start."[29] -

Oh I don't know, maybe something to do with his dismissal from missouris fucking football team?Pick6;1693603 wrote:Also, what exactly are Beckham's "off the field" issues. -
Pick6WRs I'd take over Coates:
Cooper
DaVante Parker
Rashad Greene
Kevin White
Tyler Lockett
Beckham
Diggs
Coates is too one dimensional. -
se-alumDon't forget the possibility of Duron Carter.
