Very good point, I was speaking financially.Laley23;1692842 wrote:Financially, no. And I am of the notion you draft till you get the guy. But, I definitely think they can cripple you in many ways beyond money. -

Agreed. I also was impressed with the class and leadership he showed by shaking hands after the game while the rest of his teammates ran off the field. I don't want him, but I do think he will be the most ready of this QB class.BR1986FB;1692798 wrote:Personally, I don't want Winston but I do think he's the most ready of the group. -
thavoiceYou guys really think Winston will be a good NFL QB?
I think some of it comes down to time and place for the QB's. Not really sure Winston is the guy, seems to turn the ball over too much.
Ya gotta trade Gordon, but what will you get? What pick would you browns fan accept for Gordon? -
BR1986FBRead an interesting piece on where the Browns might use some of their projected $55 million in cap space in FA. Besides obviously trying to re-sign a few current players, they said that Farmers "M.O" has been to sign FA's "up the middle" of the defense. Nose Tackle will be a likely priority with the names of Suh & Gerald McCoy being thrown out, if they hit FA. Also mentioned a big time mauling RG is a priority. No mention of WR.

I thought Gerald McCoy already signed an extension.BR1986FB;1692922 wrote:Read an interesting piece on where the Browns might use some of their projected $55 million in cap space in FA. Curious to see how many "incidents" there are this summer, and how long he lasts on the team...thavoice;1692994 wrote:Hate to say it but he created this circus. -

He will last on the team.Dr. KnOiTaLL;1692995 wrote:Curious to see how many "incidents" there are this summer, and how long he lasts on the team...
Unless he gets into trouble.
He is allowed to go out and have some fun. It is the offseason. He will be a target though, more so than most players, just because of the persona he created. -
SonofanumpWhy all the Mariotta v Winston talk here? Neither will be around at #12. 3rd best WR , DL, or OL would be where they will be heading.

But, Gordon and 2 firsts is a nice bargaining chip to move up... -

Not sure you can ban someone from a city, but I'd be all for it.SportsAndLady;1693033 wrote:Drunk people threw drinks at manziel at a nightclub?!?!??!?! I want him off the team and bant from Cleveland!! Forever!!! -
Commander of AwesomeBills requested HC interview with Browns OC Kyle Shanahan, per team source.

Not saying it would be a good move or not. Simply saying they have the tools to do it.HitsRus;1693034 wrote:(@ Laley)^^^Ugh!...no, please. Spend both 1st round picks on something other than a QB. -

I'm not worried about Shanahan leaving. They are also interviewing THE Legend, Pat Shurmur. No way he doesn't get the job. Hopefully it brings FakePatShurmur back on twitter too.Commander of Awesome;1693064 wrote:Bills requested HC interview with Browns OC Kyle Shanahan, per team source. -
sportchamppsSMH... At people who say can you prove he raped the girl. You might as well become Steeler fans and cheer on Roethlisberger.
-

Precisely why I don't want him. Goes back to that hypocrite thing. We've all ripped on Yinzer fans for backing a rapist. How would it be any better if we cheered for Winston after giving Steeler fans shit for the last few years?sportchampps;1693190 wrote:SMH... At people who say can you prove he raped the girl. This comparison (rapeis and roeth) I can see lol as opposed to the Suh comparison.BR1986FB;1693196 wrote:Precisely why I don't want him. Goes back to that hypocrite thing. Yeah I am behind that, not behind "can't root for such on my team because he is a mean player on the field " argument though.SportsAndLady;1693200 wrote:This comparison (rapeis and roeth) I can see lol as opposed to the Suh comparison. -

I think the hypocrit reason would be the dumbest excuse to not want/bring in Winston.BR1986FB;1693196 wrote:Precisely why I don't want him. Goes back to that hypocrite thing.
