gport_tennis100/100 times Id rather have Kawhi Leonard on a max contract than Melo

I think he will just get worse and become the next Joe Johnson.gport_tennis;1738249 wrote:Apples to oranges comparison. Andre is 7 years older than Kawhi, and is on the downward trajectory of his career. Kawhi is just now entering his prime, already has a title (which included 4 round of playoff wins fyi), defensive POY, and a finals MVP.
Even if the Kawhi we saw this year was the same Kawhi we see for the next 5 years and does not improve in any facets of the game, he is still worth a max contract. Chances are we will see an even better Kawhi as he continues to improve. -

I'd rather have Delly than Melo. Melo blows.gport_tennis;1738250 wrote:100/100 times Id rather have Kawhi Leonard on a max contract than Melo -

friendfromlowrySaw that the Kings - and basically no one else - pushing for Rondo. He, WCS, and Cousins? Forget the games, I want to see what practice is like.

wildcats20More on Butler...
@WojYahooNBA: Jimmy Butler, Chicago Bulls finalizing a five-year, $95M maximum contract with player option after four years, league sources tell Yahoo. -

Yeah the media is really pushing this perception.friendfromlowry;1738258 wrote:Saw that the Kings - and basically no one else - pushing for Rondo. He, WCS, and Cousins? Forget the games, I want to see what practice is like. -
gport_tennisRondo and cousins reps I get, does WCS have a bad attitude or reputation?

Not that I know of currently but I could see it down the road.gport_tennis;1738263 wrote:Rondo and cousins reps I get, does WCS have a bad attitude or reputation? -
Azubuike24WCS is about as chill as it gets. Honestly, he's a strange ranger and I'd definitely question his desire to actually play basketball for a long time. I could see him getting 1 big contract and retiring early to rap or be a fashion designer or something.

From everything I've read/heard, I agree.Azubuike24;1738277 wrote:WCS is about as chill as it gets. Azubuike24There were rumors his draft stock fell outside of the top 10 after some interviews with teams who questioned just how much he even wanted to play basketball. It's not far fetched considering how his UK career was. He was dominant at times and other times was just there. How a guy with his size and athleticism could have games like 2 points and 2 rebounds in 20+ minutes is beyond me.

Mulva$12 mil a year for Amir Johnson and $14 mil for Khris Middleton. Its monopoly money at this point.
-
Azubuike24Johnson on a 2-year deal, okay.
The Middleton deal is just asinine. -
gport_tennisAdvanced stats love khris middleton. He's a great 3rd or 4th scoring option on a team, and is very good defender. Seems about the price these days for people with his skills

...and it's also the Bucks. He basically had them by the balls to sign him now if they wanted any shot of having him. It's not like the top guys are shopping for homes in Milwaukee.gport_tennis;1738313 wrote:Advanced stats love khris middleton. friendfromlowrySounds like the Lakers bombed their meeting with LMA.

More LMA: He and Kobe didn't quite gel. It's a little vague, but Aldridge apparently didn't quite get answers from Kobe he was seeking.

LaMarcus Aldridge will not be joining the Lakers, The Times has learned. They were a 50-50 choice but he disliked bball part of presentation -
AutomatikKobe acting like a bitch? Shocker!
-
wildcats20By telling him that he sees them working together like he did with Pau during their run?
-
Lovejoy1984No "star" wants to play with Kobe Bryant. Isn't really a shock to me, nor should it be to anyone else. He still thinks he's 25 and a force in the NBA.
-
robj55Kobe is and has always been selfish.

gport_tennisI would have liked to have seen that Lakers squad at full health in there playoffs. Kobe, Dwight, pau, Nash. They were all just starting to hit their strides and were playing pretty good ball by end of season. Shame literally every single guard on the Lakers got hurt in 3 days

@ramonashelburne: Told that Aldridge asked @kobebryant how he thought they would play together and Kobe compared it to his dynamic w/ Pau.Automatik;1738333 wrote:Link?
@ramonashelburne: There was no talk of black swans or white swans Kobe just said he thought they'd be great together & compared it to the game he & Pau ran -
