Got to break the culture of the misfeasance of the players!trep14;1656140 wrote:Idk why I watch the Browns they just put me in a bad mood. Doesn't matter what coaching changes are made or who the starting quarterback is or whatever, if the chips are down, the team wearing the Browns jerseys will absolutely not make the plays needed to win. -

Get the pro wrestling impersonator out of here and get us a competent football coach.
That's a start. -
redstreak oneIronman, CBS here in Pike County made me suffer through watching the Clowns and not the Bengals! lol

TiernanThis makes Sunday's hangover a minor distraction.

The misfeasance of the players carries over from coach to coach.IggyPride00;1656161 wrote:It starts at the top. When you have a Goldberg impersonator running your team instead of a competent head football coach it doesn't inspire the players to perform their best when it counts. -
IggyPride00Just in time for the bye week so we can stew about this for 2 weeks now instead of 1.
2nd time in 3 weeks Hoyer has needed a pair of depends under his pants to soak up the urine running down his leg when it really counted.
He's DA 2007 all over again. -
MulvaThis team isn't winning a Super Bowl, but it's a joke to even suggest benching Hoyer when all 3 games have literally come down to the last play.
Look at the next 5. Tennessee, Pittsburgh, Jacksonville, Oakland, Tampa Bay. No reason this team can't hang around all season. Would have been sitting pretty at 2-1, though, so this loss fucking sucks. -
shook_17Fuck you billy cundiff

And what has Hoyer done on the most critical play in both those games... ?Mulva;1656178 wrote:This team isn't winning a Super Bowl, but it's a joke to even suggest benching Hoyer when all 3 games have literally come down to the last play. -

I dont blame Cundiff at all. Bad snap and not being able to block were the reasons for the misses.shook_17;1656179 wrote:Fuck you billy cundiff -

Here on my cable in Marietta there was one hi-def station with the Bengals on, and one hi-def with the Browns, one hi-def with the Min-NO game, and one reg-def with the Was-Phil game.redstreak one;1656173 wrote:Ironman, CBS here in Pike County made me suffer through watching the Clowns and not the Bengals! lol -

You have a strange obsession with him.IggyPride00;1656182 wrote: -
IggyPride00If Weeden had made that bonehead forward pass there would be calls for him to be cut immediately.
Because it is out lord and savior Hoyer people pretend it didn't matter.
At least on the OBR I am seeing some calls to get him out of here before he sabotages the rest of the season. It would be nice to see reason take hold around here as well. -
Mulva
Well today he was probably standing on the sidelines with the rest of the offense. Because the most critical play was one of the top paid corners in football getting burned for 30 yards with under 90 seconds to play.HelloAgain;1656180 wrote:And what has Hoyer done on the most critical play in both those games... ? -

Our defense never sees the field again if he doesn't miss a receiver literally 5 yds from him.Mulva;1656189 wrote:Well today he was probably standing on the sidelines with the rest of the offense. RotinajOur WR were wide open most of the time. I don't think Hoyer played bad but its not like he was making amazing throws. Quite a few batted balls and ducks that were caught anyway. I think he still deserves to start after the bye though. If we don't win 3 of the next 5 against that lineup of shit we play then go ahead and put JM in.

BR1986FBSame crap, different year. "Close" isn't cutting it anymore. Missed opportunities, undisciplined/stupid penalties, etc.
And "get Hoyer out of here?" Dude was about as close to perfect ( 6 incompletions all day and almost 300 yards) as you're going to get. LOL -

Haden is EXTREMELY overrated. I'm sure I'll take heat for that but it's true.Mulva;1656189 wrote:Well today he was probably standing on the sidelines with the rest of the offense. That bad defensive play wouldn't have mattered had the offense properly and competently played out the opportunities they had. No great plays were needed, just competent sound decisions and executing without errors in MLB wording(normal effort).Mulva;1656189 wrote:Well today he was probably standing on the sidelines with the rest of the offense. People are noticing, at least that aren't blinded by their lord and savior Brian Hoyer. -
