Comical indeed.Midstate01;1398440 wrote:Lol at cribbs being a star anywhere but kr. Hes a terrible route runner and isnt that good after the catch.
lol exactly. Cribbs has played under 3 head coaches. If he was good enough to make a legit impact as a role other than KR, you would think one of those 3 coaching staffs would have figured it out by now. Also, even as KR Cribbs has lost a step. I hope the Steelers over pay for him, that would be great.Commander of Awesome;1398441 wrote:Interesting perspective coming from a non browns fan. Basically though, this is not the case. He's been in Cleveland for a long time and never found a permanent home outside of ST. Its not the coaches holding him back, that's all I can tell you. -

Just stop. You are showing you have no idea what the hell you are talking about.Gblock;1398443 wrote:i do actually at least in the return game aka devin hester..he clearly has been the best player on the browns from the time they drafted him until they drafted trent richardson -
Gblockjust being on the browns makes you look at least 30% shi**ier than you actually are. tim couch was probably a hof qb if he wasnt praying for his life every time he dropped back. if the browns drafted tom brady he probably would have lasted two years in the league

BR1986FBDiminished skills, lost his burst...the one time his replacement, Travis Benjamin, touched a ball on a punt return, he took it to the house.
Appreciate what Cribbs did while he was here but he's a shell of his former self. Would love to keep him around, at a deep discount, to cover on specials but I don't want him touching the ball on punts/kickoffs. He leaves too many yards on the field. -

So now you are just being a troll, because you have no substance to back up your claims. Got it.Gblock;1398446 wrote:just being on the browns makes you look at least 30% shi**ier than you actually are. tim couch was probably a hof qb if he wasnt praying for his life every time he dropped back. if the browns drafted tom brady he probably would have lasted two years in the league -

LOL @ this comment. The Browns may suck in many areas but they are usually one of the top special teams', unlike Pittsburgh, in the league....Cribbs isn't doing it himself.Gblock;1398446 wrote:just being on the browns makes you look at least 30% shi**ier than you actually are. tim couch was probably a hof qb if he wasnt praying for his life every time he dropped back. if the browns drafted tom brady he probably would have lasted two years in the league -
Gblockhe has taken some brutal hits the last few years...that hit he took last year most guys would have gotten carted off and never played for the rest of the year if ever

+1...can't rep you again until I spread it around. They are such frontrunners that they don't even HAVE their own thread....only when they are winning.like_that;1398448 wrote:So now you are just being a douche troll, because you have no substance to back up your claims. Got it. -

Doesn't matter if the rest of your ST's are shit, Cribbs isn't busting one.Gblock;1398452 wrote:which is why i said we need cribbs -

Exactly, this isn't 2007. Cribbs isn't breaking for TD on his own. Also with the rule changes on kickoff, it makes Cribbs even less valuable.BR1986FB;1398456 wrote:Doesn't matter if the rest of your ST's are shit, Cribbs isn't busting one. -
Gblockclearly we have been last in ST for about 20 years. we got a new coach this year so hopefully...i was being serious about cribbs, not trolling. who on your team was better than him?

Benjamin is a better option at punt returner, IMO.Gblock;1398458 wrote:clearly we have been last in ST for about 20 years. we got a new coach this year so hopefully...i was being serious about cribbs, not trolling. who on your team was better than him? -

As a kick returner? Nobody was from 2005-2008. After 2008, he honestly kept the KR/PR slot based on reputation.Gblock;1398458 wrote:clearly we have been last in ST for about 20 years. we got a new coach this year so hopefully...i was being serious about cribbs, not trolling. who on your team was better than him? -

As like_that said, really hope the steelers sign him to a big deal. I would legit have no issue with Cribbs going to the steelers.Gblock;1398470 wrote:until last year any player on offense?? and hes only 29 -
Gblockand its a shame if your best player on offense is a rookie tackle...but now i am trolling so im done

a big deal? it wouldnt take a big deal since you guys only pay him 400,000 for most of his careerCommander of Awesome;1398486 wrote:As like_that said, really hope the steelers sign him to a big deal. I would legit have no issue with Cribbs going to the steelers. -

He was a pro bowl tackle that year, and actually in 2007 they had Braylon with his best year, Winslow pwned, and even Jamal lewis was pwning. Please try harder to troll!Gblock;1398487 wrote:and its a shame if your best player on offense is a rookie tackle...but now i am trolling so im done -

Unless you're thinking of his first couple of games this season, which he was playing with knee injuries. He's one tough MFer, just like Alex Mack. Alex Mack played 7 days after an apendectomy. Having the surgury myself, that's infruckingcredible, and further proves what a QQing ***** Hills boo hoo tummyache was.
