Where is non to refute this? :rolleyes:BR1986FB;1400510 wrote:Forgot to mention earlier the "lulz" I got last night driving home listening to Tim & Pat on Sirius XM. They have a caller who is a regular who they refer to as 'Adrian in the Burgh' who calls in frequently. Just goes to show you the lack of knowledge some of the simpletons in that "fan" base have.
First...he claims that losing Mike Wallace will be "devastating" to the Steelers because he's a "top 3 NFL receiver." (Better than Andre Johnson, Roddy White, Julio Jones, AJ Green (who supposedly pads his stats against the Browns) and is as good as Calvin Johnson)... Then he proceeds to say that the Steelers have a 'Super Bowl caliber roster." Tim Ryan ripped him to shreds saying that first, "there are probably 8-10 WR's better than Wallace" and second "the Steelers no longer have a Super Bowl caliber roster....they have a Super Bowl caliber QB but not the roster surrounding him."
"Adrian's" argument about Wallace was that the Steelers "never let players walk when they are in their prime and use them up and throw them away." Explain James Harrison & Polamalu? Can't stay healthy and are pretty much shells of their former self. Polamalu still gives some productivity but Harrison should've been put out to pasture.
This guy sounded like a total "yee haw" referring to the Browns at the "Hash Browns" and saying that the Browns were the "only team he wasn't worried about Wallace going to." -
BR1986FB
Even he would've been embarrassed. I know a few (very few) Steelers "fans" who know their shit and they would've facepalmed at what this guy was saying. And he's supposedly one of their "respected" callers. I laughed when they called the guy "Kenny Powers" because that was about his intellect.like_that;1400513 wrote:Where is non to refute this? -

I will take none of these players. None.Commander of Awesome;1399970 wrote:Adam Schefter ‏@AdamSchefter Notable UFAs not tagged: Ed Reed, Paul Kruger, Aqib Talib, William Moore, Brent Grimes, Cliff Avril, Sebastian Vollmer, Danny Amendola.
Would love to look at Kruger, and/or Talib. If we didn't already have RT situated I would also want Vollmer. He's a stud RT. -
BR1986FBSo apparently, Kevin Costner will play the Cleveland Browns General Manager in an upcoming movie about the the team....

Yes. Movie will supposedly be called 'Draft Day." Costner is the GM of the Cleveland Browns looking to take them back to their former glory (how appropriate).CLEconomically Speaking;1400698 wrote:Is this real?
Buffalo had originally got the movie but apparently, the city of Cleveland swooped in and put in a lower bid.
They were hypothetically talking on the radio about if they were to use the actual coaches/management, who should play the part. The suggestions were:
Joe Banner: Steve Buscemi/Danny Devito
Rob Chudzinski: Kevin James
Ray Horton: Ice T -

Maybe Cleveland is on to something. A few years after the Major League movies came out, the Indians started to become a AL Central power.BR1986FB;1400745 wrote:Yes.
