Sadly, yes. I'd heard people talking about it on this site, so I read the Wikipedia plot summary. Lot of things get fucked in that film. Some living, some dead, one a baby. And that kind of oversimplifies things, as some start out living and finish dead during their scenes.

Can't imagine that film doing much for Serbian Tourism.

lol I read the wiki not too long ago....that was enough for me.

I believe it was #1 or close to the top of a Most Disturbing Movie list.

Anyone hear anything about Wallace? I saw an article yesterday, based on production, he's one of the most underpaid WRs in the NFL.....great.

Looks like he's set on holding out.

Good for him, hope he sticks to it and holds out. One of the few times I'm on the players side with a contract dispute.
  • Automatik
I agree he needs to be paid, but Larry Fitz money? Hell no.

I just want it resolved asap. New OC, new playbook. Get your ass to camp on time.

I take it you feel this way because it weakens a division rival? I mean, that's fine. Just trying to clarify.

He's not worth the money he wants....plain and simple. There's a few different things that can happen here. We'll see how it plays out. If he sits out the entire season he'll be in the same position next offseason. He comes back after sitting out 10 games....I hope that that 6 games + potential postseason that he plays work out well for the Steelers and then he'll be an UFA next offseason. They reach a long term deal soon and get on with the show....great.

Also keep in mind that AB and Sanders will be FA's next offseason. Who is more important to the offense...AB or Wallace?

They extended Brown not too long ago, correct? If so, I can see a reason for that. Brown is a better receiver, more complete. Wallace is more of a one trick pony. He's smoking crack if he thinks he's worth Larry Fitz money.

Yeah. I love how Wallace can extend the field, but there was a reason why Brown seemed to get better as the season went along last year while Wallace's numbers faded somewhat. One is well-rounded; the other is a speedster who can be more easily minimized with good defense.

No (regarding AB). He'll be a RFA after the 2012 season. Emmanuel Sanders will be as well. This upcoming season will be Brown's 3rd.

Wallace has not produced in the postseason and he didn't play well in the 2nd half of last season. Don't get me wrong, I love what he brings to the table in terms of speed and warranting double coverage but Fitz had a record-breaking postseason a few years ago and faces double and triple coverage at times and still makes the catch. There's nothing he can't do. Wallace doesn't bring all of that to the table.

I don't wanna lose Wallace, but I'd hate to lose Brown.

Brainfart. I could've sworn they locked up Brown this past offseason.

I got shit on for saying this about Wallace 2 years ago.

Most of my steeler buddies agree with this about wallace.
Until he can be effective in the intermediate area with good routes then he will not become an elite WR. He can run past people, and get the pop pass and run. Not much route running involved. A good defense can take away those deep passes and the true test of a WR is how he handles those 8-15 yard routes.

Shows how a little time changes things. I'd have defended Wallace two years ago, but now that he's emerged and is wanting big money despite how his production dwindled as last year went along and considering how he is a talented, but limited receiver at this moment (great speed, questionable intermediate routes), it's a lot harder to defend him.

Max Starks was signed to a 1-year deal by the Steelers today.
  • killer_ewok
Steelers gave Jonathan Scott his walking papers yesterday.

Also, reports are that progress is being made in regards to Mike Wallace and a long-term deal there.

Joey Porter announced his retirement. He will sign with the Steelers to retire as a member of the team. Pretty cool. He was a big mouth but sometimes it was a good thing as he either got into the head of opposing players or lit a fire under his squad's behind. Anybody who punches a Cleveland player during pre-game is alright in my book. ;-)
