Commander of AwesomeEither way, he took the team to two AFC championship games. That's what Bearnie did in Cleveland and he's hearlded as the best Browns QB of the last 25 yrs and in the Ring of Honor.

He definitely played a very big role in those AFC Championship game appearances. Unfortunately, his play in those games was lackluster. However, both of the teams that he lost to went on to win the Super Bowl the following game as their QB's were a couple of guys named Elway and Brady. -

I still emember the int the threw in the end zone vs the broncos, and then Romanowski hitting his own head like "WOw, that was a dumb throw". STeelers went down but came roaring back and I thought they had a chance to win it if they could stop the broncos on that last drive. I remember they came out of the huddle, flexed everyone wide and a LB, maybe kirkland, was matched on Sharpe and he just went out and boxed out the LB for teh first down catch.killer_ewok;1185819 wrote:He definitely played a very big role in those AFC Championship game appearances. Never heard 3 rivers so quiet in my life.
but I digress.
Wallace needed to get his ass to the OTA's to learn the new offense. -

I remember that game but I think that it was Gildon trying to cover Sharpe there. I was sick.
Agree about Wallace. I realize it's a business but damn.....he's not gonna get Larry Fitzgerald money so come up with a more realistic asking price and get the damn thing done and get with the team. -

Ya know......After i posted that I kept thinking maybe it was Gildon. I remember that sharpe flexed out to the left of the formation and since we were in the end zone I could see it and knew it was was gonna be trouble.. Gutsy call to go to I think it was 5 wide in that situation. I can still hear Elway's voice yelling from the field after that game......damn it pissed me off.killer_ewok;1189431 wrote:I remember that game but I think that it was Gildon trying to cover Sharpe there. GoPensIf you'd get over your jealousy and hatred in trying to come up with a witty (failed) response, you would have paid attention and seen that it is a boy.

LOL. I took it as a joke to begin with so it's all good. I thought I made that clear in my previous post. My bad.
Yeah, it is good to see him finally settling down some so hopefully the days of looking for some strange in BFE and going 200 mph on a crotch rocket are over. -

You mean the regular season after reality has set in for them? There usually is a good couple weeks you can have when they're in depression mode before they go back into the usual RAGE! MODE! that personifies Cleveland.killer_ewok;1194464 wrote:The Cleveland trolls are running amok on the Steeler thread. Thread ban time!
