Headin' to the game tomorrow, leaving from Toledo @10:00am, getting off at E9th--what's the best way to get to the stadium from there, and where to park??

[/h][h=5]Interesting stats from ESPN on Haden's impact on the Browns secondary:

"The Browns are a different pass defense when cornerback Joe Haden is on the field. During his four-game suspension, the Browns allowed quarterbacks to complete 66.4 percent of their passes with 10 touchdowns and three interceptions.

"With Haden on the field, Cleveland has held quarterbacks to a 58 percent completion rate with five touchdowns and seven interceptions. In three games this season, Haden has intercepted two passes and has broken up four throws.

" The defense has to figure out a way to derail Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers, who is 2-0 against the Browns. Rivers has thrown for 584 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions for a passer rating of 118.8 versus Cleveland.

being that late, id look for this parking garage on superior or on the corner of east 9th and the expressway there is a parking garage. (expressway down by the stadium)

Don't get off on 9th, take 90 east and loop back to the right on OH-2 West. Take the exit for 9th and make a left. Parking garage to the right is the closest (getting pricy, though). Or, go a few lights in and hang a left to park at one of those garages.

I find looping around much faster than going through town.

Although, this year I've parked at the Port every game.

92.3 The Fan up here in Cleveland did a radio interview with the "Fake Pat Shurmur".

Here is a link to it and it is really good stuff for anyone that follows him on Twitter. It will probably be the only think I miss about Pat when he is gone.

Watching Jarvis jones today makes me want him playing olb for the browns next year. He is a ball hawk and can rush the passer

^^ i was just getting ready to post about the draft. i had this damn second back surgery about a week ago, so ive been watching games and a few players at the top of the big board and Ried the FS from LSU intrigues me a lot. reminds me of the late Sean Taylor. i wouldn't mind him on our team next year. it would allow TJ Ward to play up in the box and help against the run.

MKC is jumping the gun with the "elite QB" comments. I think he's their guy going forward but way too early to be throwing out "elite." Another error was where she said Weeden "held his own" against #1 overall pick Andrew Luck. No, MKC...Weeden clearly outplayed #1 pick Andrew Luck. Unfortunately the Browns lost....

^^ yup. weeden is not getting any love in the national media and its clearly because we are 1-6. we start winning we will be noticed.

After Cam Newton, I'll refrain from calling any QB elite after a few good games.

Exactly, let a league get some film on a QB before you get excited about him.

they keep saying london is possible to land a franchise. that is some bullshit. if cleveland lost a home game to that place i would be piss ed off. but they said it sounds like jacksonville is a FRONT runner to move there.

also they said steelers won't franchise wallace and more inclined to let him walk.. get the check book out haslam!

It will def be jacksonville, they made an agreement to play games there for the next 3-4 seasons. A team in London though would be a fucking joke.

Also, Banner is not going to sign Wallace for the amount he wants.

Mike Lombardi is viewed as a candidate to join #Browns' front office, per @JasonLaCanfora -- http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/blog/jason-la-canfora/20723343 …. #NFL
Do. Not. Want. If he does get the job, the inside track would be John Gruden for HC.

I wouldn't mind Gruden at all. What's the issue with Lombardi though?
  • SportsAndLady
Lombardi and Gruden, sign me up

Great way to go (I parked at the Wiilard Park garage for $20), thanks again....cold, wet, and miserable, but there's nothing like going to a sporting event with your son...priceless (and they fricking won!!!)
