If RG3 is there at 4 and they don't want him, they'd better trade down with Washington, Miami or Seattle.Skyhook79;1060047 wrote:I still think they are going to roll with McCoy (even though its a mistake) until they can sign a FA at QB. If he is there at 4 they are taking him because the fan outrage would be like nothing they have ever seen if they passed on him.BR1986FB;1060072 wrote:If RG3 is there at 4 and they don't want him, they'd better trade down with Washington, Miami or Seattle.
That is why I think they have been sending out the smoke screen that they want to trade up to get him as a means of getting some other team to do it so as to avoid being put in that position at 4. I don't think they want him, but realize they would have no choice but to take him if he was on the board. -

Exactly, if there's a QB that teams below you want, you get everything out of them that you can. Because they will pay. Besides, if you're trading down only one spot, the guy you really wanted is going to be there, you get them and whatever extra from the trade.BR1986FB;1060072 wrote:If RG3 is there at 4 and they don't want him, they'd better trade down with Washington, Miami or Seattle.
But, I hope we go RG3 if he's available (no trading up). If not, Blackmon. -

I don't think so. If you pillage Washington/Miami like you did Atlanta I would find that preferable. We could add a second round to this year and pick up a 1st round next year at least, and still possibly get Justin Blackmon at 7. That is a win.IggyPride00;1060094 wrote:If he is there at 4 they are taking him because the fan outrage would be like nothing they have ever seen if they passed on him.

MulvaI'd love to grab a receiver in both free agency and the draft. If we could get a speed guy like Garcon and then draft a bigger target (Floyd/Jeffery), or get a bigger target like Colston and then take a Kendall Wright, I think we'd have the makings of a very good receiver corps.
I just don't see any way you're getting that much back moving from 4 to 7.OneBuckeye;1060111 wrote:I don't think so. If you pillage Washington/Miami like you did Atlanta I would find that preferable. BR1986FBDolphins hire Joe Philbin (Packers) as their head coach. I expect Matt Flynn to follow him to Miami.

IDK Matt Moore has played very well. I would roll with him for now. Flynn is going to want a lot of money.BR1986FB;1060924 wrote:Dolphins hire Joe Philbin (Packers) as their head coach. I expect Matt Flynn to follow him to Miami. -

And the Fins also have a bunch of impatient celebrity owners looking to make a "sexy" splash....Skyhook79;1060930 wrote:IDK Matt Moore has played very well. I would roll with him for now. Flynn is going to want a lot of money. -

This would make lot of sense. And RG3 to the Browns becomes much more likely.BR1986FB;1060924 wrote:Dolphins hire Joe Philbin (Packers) as their head coach. I expect Matt Flynn to follow him to Miami. -

Unless, for some reason, Tom Clements were to land in Cleveland as the OC. Then, Flynn might be in play for the Browns.royal_k;1060940 wrote:This would make lot of sense. And RG3 to the Browns becomes much more likely. -

Then they would want Peyton Manning.BR1986FB;1060933 wrote:And the Fins also have a bunch of impatient celebrity owners looking to make a "sexy" splash.... -

Possible and Skyhook, I think, if he's healthy enough to play, Manning is a Redskin. If the Skins have Manning and the Fins have Flynn, unless the Sea Chickens are going to throw the farm at the Rams, STL is going to have a tough time trading down from #2 meaning RG3 should be there at #4.royal_k;1060945 wrote:Maybe Clements follows Philbin?
I'm starting to wonder if all of these "leaks" coming out about the Browns wanting RG3 are being put out there by the Browns hoping that someone will trade above them for RG3....that the Browns really don't want him and know it will be a PR nightmare if he's there at 4 and they pass on him. -
wes_mantooth
very good possibility. Although, I don't really think it would be a PR nightmare if they took another "sexy" pick. If they took Kalil instead...then it would be PR problem.BR1986FB;1060958 wrote:Possible and Skyhook, I think, if he's healthy enough to play, Manning is a Redskin. With as many people who are now on the RG3 "bandwagon" and because many have soured on McCoy, yes...I think it would be a nightmare.wes_mantooth;1060962 wrote:very good possibility. royal_kIf RG3 is there at #4, assuming the Browns stay there, they have to pick him. The uproar would be everywhere if they didn't. The only thing that would stop them would be if they thought he couldn't play in their offense.

BR1986FBThey HAVE to address the QB situation THIS year. Otherwise I see them being stuck with McCoy until 2014.

BR1986FBIf you did nothing wrong, why would you settle?

Celebs settle all the time. Not surprising at all. They are targets. I don't know if Big Ben did it or not, thats between him and his conscience.BR1986FB;1061000 wrote:If you did nothing wrong, why would you settle?

On the other hand if the girl was really raped why would she settle? She could always get Civil suit money after a criminal trial? -
wes_mantoothI think big ben is one of the biggest pieces of shit in professional sports, but who knows what went on....there is a lot of people out there that will scam rich people..

Mr Miyagi
read where Clement is probably going to be named OC of the Packers....Mcarthy says they want to fill it from "within"BR1986FB;1060924 wrote:Dolphins hire Joe Philbin (Packers) as their head coach. I expect Matt Flynn to follow him to Miami.
I truly expect Flynn to go to whoever offers him the most money.......Miami or Seattle, Seattles GM or Pres was responsible for drafting him in Green Bay.... but i also expect the Fins
I also agree that we need to get the QB situation taken care of.....if you are sure RG3 is the guy , you do it.....i just dont see the Browns doing it if there are offers to trade down...Heckert loves those 2nd round picks, and with this new collective bargaining agreement i think more teams are going to be willing to trade up....one thing you might hear about is Dallas wanting to jump ahead of Tampa to select best DB ( Clairborne?)...it all depends on who Heckert is targeting.....all speculation on my part...of course i would love to have a QB starter for the next 15 years....lets see how the free agency ,combine and individual workouts go and maybe we will all have a better idea -

royal_kNice to see the Browns have the third hardest schedule next year, while the Patriots and Packers have the two easiest. WTF?
